"Staff were lovely"

"Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. À l'arrivée nous avons eu une agréable surprise de trouver un petit mot et une boîte de gâteaux ce qui a réconforté nos enfants qui n'avaient pas goûté et avait fait 4 heures de route. Nous sommes français notre anglais n'est pas parfait et les personnes à l'accueil ont pris le temps de nous expliquer toutes les modalités pour le dîner et le petit-déjeuner. La chambre était très propre nous avons eu des serviettes à disposition des produits pour se laver...

"Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good."

"We have stayed at this hotel many times but not for about 3/4 years. We couldn’t believe how run down it has become. The whole place needs to be refurbished. Our sink in the bathroom had a crack in it, carpet had red stains on it. The doors in corridor were all scratched and the carpet was dirty. The chairs we sat in for breakfast were all peeling, although some of them had been replaced. Even the food was not upto much. Got told we would have to wait quite a while for the sausages as none...

"Really old hotel lots of character starting to look very dated in rooms Really could do with a refit and some modernisation"

"everything was fantastic and I have to give special thanks to Prince for his kindness and helpfulness. A 10 out of 10. Breakfast was really nice.. I will definitely stay there again."

"El Hotel está muy antiguo, el personnel son buenos, el problema es que el hotel es muy caliente y no tienes aire en los habitaciones no puedo dormir nada"

"Absolutely wonderful stay for a short stay. The only fault were the pillows…felt like sleeping on a cement bag but that’s a personal preference ."

"Location not in walking distance of anything such as stores or railways. Short drive to Portsmouth Harbour. Quiet area."

"In the elevator of this hotel is a big sign requesting a five star review, however no one at this establishment puts any effort into Five Star service. Upon checking in the reception did not advise us that the restaurant was open for dinner or that breakfast was available. We were not told that our room included a free upgraded WiFi. When we entered the room we discovered that the hand soap was empty. Later when we went to shower we found that the shower soap was also empty and that we only had...

"Have stayed here before and stayed again because of how nice the place is. The rooms are modern and equipped with netflix etc for you to use. When I got there I was told I’d been upgraded from my Superior Family Room however it was to a Superior Double Room which was a downside, however as soon as I mentioned that I’d booked the family room for the extra space due to work they fixed it straight away and put me in a bigger room. Every time I saw the owners I was greeted by name and asked if I...
