Paula and Keith were both great.Fantastic accommodation right next to the beach.We loved sitting out front on one of their patios and enjoying our glass of wine.It is also very well equipped and beautifully decorated.We loved it.

The view from the property and the outdoor garden and spaces are beautiful. The house is clean, very comfortable and has everything that is needed plus more. Paula is a lovely host and I would definitely recommend this property to anyway wanting to stay in Hawke’s Bay.

Everything about this stay was superb- the house is impeccably furnished and spotlessly clean and a lovely comfortable space to be in; the location couldn’t be better with the beach over the road and in full view from the house. Outdoors fully caters to breakfasts on the deck or drinks in the sheltered courtyard. Paula is a fabulous host, I felt instantly welcome and looked after. Simply, the best.

Aslantis Retreat

What a great cottage, location and surrounds. We stayed for a week bad thoroughly spoilt! So peaceful with birds singing in the garden, great sunrises and views of the pacific and across to Cape Kidnappers. Great location with so many places and walks close by. Fresh tomatoes and biscuits were additional icing on top. Thank you Paula and Keith!

Annual Sabatical

Prime location

Unwind, relax, prime location, wake up and sit out on the verandah to see the sun rise and the moana telling its daily story. Quiet, everything you need in the house, with the superiette, fish & chips and bar and grill 1 min walk away.

Place to be at sunset and sunrise

The location across road from ocean was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and also sunset. Take it in from chairs on front patio or walk across to rocky seashore. Lots of photos to fill your reel. One of a kind feeling to this place with many personal touches by the owners, including artwork throughout home and carefully curated gardens — just like the photos. Not your normal VRBO as it does feel like you’re staying in the owner’s home. 5* if you like their style. Had one issue with main bedroom, as the mattress is past its use by date with ridge in center and leaning toward headboard likely due to damaged springs? An easy fix I hope they’ll address with fresh mattress for future guests. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend for the area.

Stunning beach house with ocean view and sound

Our stay in this lovely beach house was perfect for our needs. Paula and Keith were extraordinarily warm and welcoming hosts. The garden was mesmerizing cosy and private and the house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It offered everything you need to live and in case there was anything needed, Paula an Keith were open and happy to help. We wish to come again in our lifetime.

Great location

Aslantis is in the perfect location to visit Napier, Havelock North, and Hastings. And literally across the road from the beach. Surrounded by wineries as well. Greeted by Paula the owner and Feorgie the friendly cat.

Place to stay if you want to unwind and recharge.

Paula and Keith were awesome hosts. The accommodation couldn't be faulted. A great attention to details. Some special touch were added (Ie bottle of wine grapes, cookies, ect). Comfortable house facing the sea. I highly recommend it. Thank you again Paula and Keith.
