"Hubby, our dog (Rodger) and I had a lovely relaxed 2 night break here. Jo and her 2 wee kuri met us on arrival and then left us to enjoy our stay. We were able to relax, watch a bit of TV, sleep and do absolutely nothing. We had dinner at the pub on our first night there - hubby loved his steak and I had fish and chip, Rodger somehow managed to get a slice of steak too. "We loved staying at Pohutukawa cottage. The garden was lovely for an Easter egg hunt, and the kids loved being able to run around. Also loved the stack of firewood as the weather was fairly cold the first couple of evenings. Highly recommended for families - can walk to the ocean and the cycle trails go past the front door (plus you can rent bikes from round the corner if the ones if the shed arae not to your style). All round great stay."
