This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend trip to Hatteras! It checked off every box on our wish list: an amazing location, the amenities we wanted like a kitchen, and a hot tub!! Mark was easy to work with and it’s clear he’s put a lot of thought into the property.

Cleanliness definitely wasn’t there. Rugs were all stained and mold was on the bed comforter. Light switch zapped and sparked the fan in the kitchen also had a spark coming from it. When told the owner he told me it was up to code and functioned properly. The outdoor shower was not complete. A shower head is definitely needed. The hot tub already had sand in it and it was off season. There was a broken down hot tub on the property . The “newly renovated “ bathroom had to turn the knob a few times to even find hot water and good luck turning it off.

This was our third time staying here and we had another wonderful week at the beach! This is truly the perfect place for a couple. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for us. We love being walking distance from the beach! Mark is great at communicating and very generous. We will absolutely be back again!

Everything was exactly as advertised, great location/ distance from the beach ( 5 minute walk). Check in process was simple and directions for how to access the property were sent out the day before. Host was always reachable as well.

Absolutely perfect rental for a couple or small family. Myself and my 9yo son just spent a week here and wanted for nothing. Owner is a great communicator. If you’re on the fence, jump over it. Very nice shower and everything you would need is already in the unit

A Cozy Cottage

This place was perfect for just the 2 of us. It is quiet and peaceful. It has a beautiful view of the sound and a short walk to the beach. It is located with in walking distance to stores.The ower was so easy to work with.

This was a great place! It served every purpose. Super clean when we arrived. Great location! Couldn’t ask for more. The kitchen was well-stocked and had every item we needed to cook. I was slightly confused upon arrival that there were 2 properties at this one location, but it was simple to figure out. Great stay, would book again!

Great Little Place

This property was perfect for my husband and me along with our little dog. It was a short walk to the beach and the location was very near to shops, restaurants, museums and the ferry to Okracoke. It is like a one room type cottage with a queen size bed, 2 recliners, and a sleeper couch. The kitchen is stocked pretty good with cookware and dish cleaning supplies. The owner is very nice and was very quick with communication. We had a bonus of a view of the sound and deer below our deck daily in the afternoon.

Nice stay

Overall, the property met expectations. Very clean and worked well for my husband, myself, and our dog. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Just a short walk down the street and up the dune. We enjoyed the area very much. Quiet and sleepy at this time of year but that is what we were looking for. Mark is an excellent communicator and was very prompt to answer any questions. Hot tub was older but working. There was a bit of sand in it before we even used it the first time. Wish there was more dish, hand soap and paper towels. We would have brought that if we needed to but didn't know that. I would recommend bringing those for yourself as well as some type of plastic wrap or Reynolds wrap for leftovers. All in all, good stay. Thanks Mark!

Perfect trip

Mark was absolutely amazing! He was very communicative and made the whole process extremely easy and not stressful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly. The house was beautiful and the perfect location to the beach. Clean hot tub and clean grill with a full tank of propane and everything you need was right there! Couldn’t have asked for a better host and location! His prices are MORE than fair!! We will surely be booking again in the future!

Great place!

The unit was just as described. Located on the upper floor, it faced the Sound. It was a short walk down the block to the ocean. Even in mid-October there were a number of stores abnd restaurants open. Plenty of places to walk and explore. Definitely plan to return. The unit was nicely furnished and appointed. Bed was very comfortable.

10/10 Fantastic Beach Stay

My husband, myself and our puppy booked a 4 night stay through VRBO at the Cozy Studio Oceanside in Hatteras Village, NC, and the place exceeded our expectations!!! The studio was clean, kitchen and bathroom well stocked, had all the amenities of home. Added bonus was the beach was a mere 200 yard walk. Mark the owner was very easy to reach and answered all of questions We will definitely book a future vacation!!!

EXCELLENT!! EXCELLENT!! EXCELLENT!!

It was a wonderful experience. We had never stayed at a VRBO and so were apprehensive, but this was great. Mark Turner was great always responding in a timely manner. The place was just right for the 2 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub, there was a washer/dryer there--we didn't use and a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. Everything was perfect and I would recommend this to anyone with just 2 people.

Perfect beach getaway

This was our 4th year at e=mSea2 and it was easily the best yet. The house is perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. Great amenities, perfect location just down the street from the beach, and Mark is an amazing host. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the most beautiful beach on the East Coast, and phenomenal food, then this is the place for you.

Hatteras Hideaway!

The listing for this property is pretty misleading. It lists a one bedroom and it it’s not a bedroom. The whole apt is one big room so really it’s a bed in the back side of the livingroom. Ocean was a little more then 200 yards which was not a problem but the road leading to it was underwater our whole stay so watch the weather . If it rains or has rained a lot the area floods easily. Also there was a lot of construction debri, an old hot tub and other junk in the area where you park. Unit advertised a washer and dryer. That is also under the house where you park. Rusted and broken and not hooked up! TV remote had dead batteries which lead to several hours of trying to figure out why the tv wouldn’t work!! However , with that being said… The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was close. The owner can’t control the weather! Also owner was very easy to communicate with,and check in was pretty simple .( since the door was left unlocked) since the door was unlocked!)
