Thank you for your great review. We enjoyed having you stay and appreciated the magnet gift, thank you! We are glad we discovered one of the bathroom heat lamp bulbs needed replacing so we could do that but hope you understand why we were not able to plug in a portable plug-in heater in a bathroom area as requested. The pool may be on our front lawn but it is most definitely to be enjoyed by all our guests as well and you were invited to do so. The very next guests after you enjoyed it tremendously. They had wandered in by themselves to have a look at it at 7.30 a.m. and then decided to come back later and enjoyed their swim and being able to lounge by the pool and read their books etc. We love to see it getting lots of use over summer and it is open until the pool lights go off at 10.30 p.m. each night. We hope you really enjoy the rest of your trip around New Zealand and would love to have you come back and stay again one day. Take care and kindest regards to you both - Carol

Thank you for your lovely review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us in one of our three units here. We have lights on our sign in our garden by the roadside, and around the pool area and up our drive until about 10.30 p.m. but it is tricky driving along an unfamiliar 100 km speed road at night we understand sorry. My husband and I are the owners and live "on site" in the main house at the start of our drive and so we are home most of the time morning and night so "the woman running the place next door" is me ha ha).
