Awesome

Loved this clean house! We really appreciated the beach towels and easer and dryer. We had other destinations on our trip and the sparkling clean laundry room helped us get ready for our next stop.

26 Old Carriage Drive

Very nice house, roomy and clean. Located in a nice neighborhood. Some of the amenities were lacking. Unable to adjust temperature of air conditioning. It was too cold when in the house for extended periods. No detergent for washing machine was available, had to purchase our own. Similarly there was only enough dishwasher detergent for 3 loads. There was only one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. We had to purchase more for our stay. Basic amenities

We were at the Cape for a Dance Competition. We loved the house and we had a great time!

Great, spacious, clean home. Loved the location. Hot tub was a big hit! Yard was well kept and big enough to play cornhole and Kan Jam!

One problem

The only problem we had was that when we arrived the grill starter wasn’t working. We called customer support and was told a ticket would be put in. We never heard back. We had to use a lighter to start it

Unfortunately a few guests ruined the experience for us all. Although I had told that guest/guests to leave the property owner wanted us out which was understandable. Great house just like pictures.

A very disappointing stay

While the location of this place is great, our overall stay at this rental was disappointing. We have rented many places for large groups in the past and this was by far the lowest quality rental: - For a house that is listed as sleeping 10 people, it has none of the amenities you would need for 10 people. The kitchen didn't have enough silverware, mugs or cups for 10 people. There were no pots or pans big enough to cook a 10-person meal. The dining room had only 5 chairs and there were only 4 chairs on the patio. - The hot tub was very dirty. There were many chemicals available to clean the hot tub but no instructions on how to do it or the necessary equipment. Clearly the hot tub had not been cleaned in a very long time. - Many of the bathrooms did not have hand soap and there were no cleaning products available, which was quite strange given that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. - The propane tank for the grill outside was empty when we arrived. When we contacted the owners about this, we didn't hear back until the next day at which point it was too late.- The overall quality of everything was poor, bathroom fixtures were broken and couch cushions had holes in them. - Most rentals of this size and price offer extras like lawn games, beach chairs, beach towels etc. While this is by no means necessary, it does set this rental apart from many other rentals in the area that do offer these types of amenities.

House was beautiful but...

We celebrated my daughter's birthday, the house was beautiful everything we wanted. House was clean and had everything we needed. For the price of the house and how beautiful it is the owners need to replace the living room couches. The love seat is broken. Side is separating from the cushion seat so we couldn't sit on it with the fear of completely breaking it and the couch is all wripped with a cover on it that we had to keep fixing. So we mostly used the kitchen chairs or sat on the floor. Also couldn't figure out how to use the fireplace. Would have been nice to been able to use it. No instructions. We had a great weekend and everyone had a great time but most of the girls got a hot tub bacterial infection when they got home and had to go to the doctors. I emailed the email address on the rental company that we rented from to let them know as I had no other way to get in touch with the owners. We never heard back from anyone. I wanted to make sure so they cleaned the tub for the next renters. Very disappointing. I would have thought they would have at least apologized and offer some compensation. We had to pay extra for the hot tub and its not even clean. Had no way to get in touch with owners. The house itself was very clean, beautiful and everyone loved it. Just for the price you pay it needs new couches( the couches remind me of being in a cabin in the woods not in a luxury house down the cape) and the hot tub to be taken care of.
