Room was recently renovated, room was large, clean and in good repair, bed was a little hard but not horrible. Hotel was quiet and relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I have no complaints with the room except that the sliding glass door was off the track and you could see the curtain move when the wind was blowing. We didn't see the maid service or receive clean towels during our entire stay.

Need decent mattresses!!
While the room was a nice size and pretty clean, the bed was so uncomfortable I was unable to sleep. I even tried to sleep on top of the comforter..but got chilled, I turned the heater up, but it was still too hard to get to sleep. tried sleeping on the couch and it made my back & hip hurt. I finally gave up..got dressed and went to get breakfast. The breakfast bar has a very good selection no complaints on it.

Clean and kind but no frills
Place was clean and safe and staff were very accommodating but this was a very no frills hotel. By that I mean no hair dryer, no ice machine, no in room fridge, no vending machines.

The room was clean and comfortable. The price was good. There just needs to be some repair to walls, floor, outside appearance where weeds were not pulled. The fridge in the breakfast area would not pass health inspection, but the rest of the room was clean and food good. Whoever did the painting needs some instruction! There was only one TV station available - HGTV - which was OK because we like that one. But it would have been nice to get the news.

My bi-polar night.
Ownership seems to be upgrading the property. Got to the room and the door was propped open, which made me wonder about the place. It doesn't feel safe going into a room which has the door propped open, and it's dark out. I was warned by the front desk that there was work going on - a few things weren't completed - counter front missing, no cover on the bathroom fan, and 1/2 done paint job. But OMG the room was HUGE. New fixtures, new television, new full king. Now if they finish bolting down the toilet it would be a great couples getaway. Also, don't depend on the "breakfast."

Nightmare of a hotel
This place is disgusting and they try to rip you off!!! I prepaid on hotel.com, it verified with my credit card company and management still tried to tell me they did not collect. Rooms were below motel status. The rooms all smelled. Management said there weren’t any smoking room even though it smelled like an ashtray. Walked out on the balcony and there was a male shift ashtray... The refrigerator had a strawberita can in it from a previous guest. The exhaust fan in the restroom were not covered so you literally could slice your finger off if you stuck your finger too close when reaching for the towels. Terrible place!!!!

This hotel is a work in progress I believe. The room we had was freshly painted with new carpet and a nice bed. Unfortunately had the strong stale smoke smell in the hallway to the room and to a lesser extent in the room. The drain in the sink was clogged but the owner or manager had it taken care of while we were out and was very nice. It could use some updated furniture. Overall it was not horrible, the bed was comfortable and other than the smell the room was spotless. I felt like they were trying and in the middle of updating. For the rice I would stay there again. A plus is they had a nice breakfast for the $$ with all the continental stuff and eggs and sausage.

good motel close to Danville KY on a busy weekend
very good large room that was quite comfortable. It had good furniture with a comfortable bed. The appliances were clean and worked well. Everything except towels and wash cloths was up to good standards.

Close and convenient
This is a fairly nice hotel however the trash receptacles need to be emptied on the weekends. Also the TV reception was reported to the front desk as fuzzy or snowy and that was never fixed.

The duct tape on the side of the tub was kind of a bad deal. That and the towel rack that fell off of the wall. ‘Might’ stay there again, not sure though.

Bed Bugs and Loud Air Conditioner
Do NOT stay at this hotel. Came into a HOT room. Turned the air on to cool it down and it was SO loud I could not sleep. After laying there for almost an hour and itching, I realize I'm being attacked by BED BUGS. Had to argue with staff to get refunded for both nights instead of one. Worst hotel experience ever. Should have known when the sign said "shold out".

The hotel owners and management are no longer in control of the hotel when you stayed. This hotel has undergone a MAJOR renovation process. As of today, we do not condone disasters like this. The QUALITY INN and CHOICEHOTELS do not include themselves in this review. Hotel Management

Uncomfortable place
The hotel was not what I had hoped. It was close to the road so it was loud, the room was hot when we got there because the air was off. The cable tv had an awful picture. The pool wasn't clean so we didn't swim. To top it all off we got disturbed at 8 am for laundry pick up. I will not stay here ever again

Could of been better.
Check in/out easy. Room had holes in the walls, cigarette burn holes in the bedding<non smoking room>. The room cleanliness was acceptable. Room did not get stocked or cleaned during visit. Had to ask several times for clean sheets and towels. Would recommend for someone on a budget

No refunds for cancelled nights through expedia
It was a 4 night reservation and I stayed there for 2 nights. The front desk has told me I would get my refund back but I didn't according to Expedia's policy and restrictions. Never staying here who doesn't favor their customers over for half the refund when we didn't even stay there. Even if the policy says so, they should educate their employees not to give them promises on refund. Thanks to them, I am now short on my payments for bills.

A close location for visiting relatives.
Not inviting from the outside. Looks run down and needs some TLC. However, the room was great. Very spacious and carpet looked new. We were able to have our dog and cat there. No one bothered us and having our pets there was wonderful. Also very good rate.

Smelly Grungy Sorry
This place is smelly and dirty. The pool was not in operation. My room was not cleaned adequately, dirt in the corners, grubby bathroom, greasy carpet. Although the bed was made, there was no towel service, no ice, and no soap. You get what you pay for. I'll not choose this place again.

Improvements Needed.
The staff are attentive and try their best to accommodate you but the conditions and facilities are on a low to cheap scale. Renovating or purchasing newer equipment would be a good way to start. Double checking after cleaning rooms would also help guarantee cleanliness. Again, just a few upgrades on equipment would make a big difference. Example: hair dryers, irons, quality on TV, lights in general etc. Also, I can't leave without saying the pool area is a complete upset. What makes a hotel convenient is how it looks or appears to the customers. Appearance speaks for itself sometimes. The pool needs major work or don't list it as a perk on your website. Overall, it met the need just to "sleep".

Condition of room was horrible. Black mold on bathroom ceiling, Tissue holder rusted. Room spelled terrible. Cushion on couch in lobby was shredded. No food ready when we went to breakfast and ice machine broken. Wish I could upload my pictures. This place Is gross and needs shut down.

It was not clean at all. The bed frame had dust on it and carpet was clean tho. The bathroom tile was coming up. It needed updated in the worst way. What I did love about the place was it was quite. No kids running up and down the hall ways no drunks yelling no dogs barking and it was pet friendly.

Must read!
Overall it was a good place to stay but two things I found wrong was the bedbug cover protection they have on the beds had spots of blood that looked like someone had smashed a few in the days and also the bed was to high off the floor and for a older person it was difficult to get in and out of.

Not bad
The Days Inn was ok. Nothing special, but the price was good, and we just needed a place to sleep and shower. The staff was friendly and helpful enough, although very hard to understand.

A Dump
Room stank of mothballs and I stank of mothballs after sleeping here. All the yogurts at breakfast were expired. Bed was lumpy. Do yourself a favor a keep driving!

The hotel room smelled like moth balls and the bathroom had not been cleaned. I had no pillow cases on my pillows and had to ask that everything be cleaned and was handed pillow cases at the door and put them on myself.

Good Location for my purpose.
1st room assigned had not been cleaned or made up. 2nd room had damahe in bathroom, no electrical socket cover and carpet appeared not swept, but was new (appeared).

Ok for price I guess. But smelled like mothballs and old smoke. Had some new paint done badly, plaster and paint on new carpet and emergency lights. And some doors just looked like a little kid painted them. Our bathroom was missing most of the towel bar next to the shower and it look like they painted over holes instead of filling them first

Saw family in Harrodsburg
Room had just been updated. Room 330 where we stayed, air conditioner was loud right beside bed, did not cool other room or bath. Wall switch with a do not turn off sign, why? if it must be on all the time, wire it that way and cover with a flat plate. I guess by automatic reach to feel for switch in room and flipping it off caused the refrigerator not to work. With this being the electronic age, rooms should be full of electric plugs for cell phone charger and Tablet and PC cables.
