"My family and I came up for a long weekend get away and to relax and rest. The Cottage was so peaceful and calm. We rested inside the cozy cottage and relaxed in the hottub. There were so many things to do in the activities shed, too. I went out in a kayak and was able to view the entire lake -- gorgeous! The cottage was clean and the layout ideal. Tons of fun for the kiddos inside, too. Our process for booking was complicated due to unforeseen circumstances but Emily was gracious and helpful...

"A group of retired coworkers enjoyed great laughs, great food and conversation at this comfortable log lodge. We each had a private bedroom and plenty of space for ourselves as well as group space to reconnect. The host was responsive to prearrival inquiries and was very friendly and helpful. "Beautiful lakeviews (especially dawn) from the main gathering room/kitchen on the lower level and two bedrooms on the second level. Kitchen had a wide array of supplies, dishes, & appliances. Each of the six distinct sleeping areas had good space, adequate linens and were comfortable.A few quirks that come from an older Lake home, but overall bright, clean, comfortable stay. So glad we went."

"An excellent retreat to kick off retirement. We just hung out, drank wine and coffee (compliments of the hosts), read some great mystery novels and made a huge batch of chili for the coming winter season. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and pleasant. The amenities were abundant and the hosts truly went above and beyond expectations. Lovely little getaway cottage!!!"

"Had a great weekend at this beautiful cabin in the woods. Most cozy cabin I’ve ever stayed in, love the layout! Plenty of board games there for entertaining nights, kitchen was loaded, even has an air fryer. Slept in the master and the bed was perfect, had to find the tag for the comforter to get one for myself. Highly recommend this place!"

The signs from Wisconsin health department about not drinking the water if your pregnant, or a small child should of been disclosed to us so we could of made a informed decision about whether or not to proceed with staying there, or at the very least so we could of brought bottled water with us. "It was a quick adult getaway and the lakeside escape was perfect! The house was clean and well stocked. We made use of the French press for coffee and appreciated the snacks and water the host left. "We had a wonderful stay. I wish you could see more of the lake. The listing made it feel like you would be on the water. The location is across the street and the lake view is covered by trees. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was too chilly to enjoy the lake or an outside fire but we used the fireplace every evening, which made playing our boardgames quite cozy.
