This location was completely amazing!! From the moment we opened the door, the inviting feel was all around! It was set up for Christmas and the added bonus of little toys to keep my little one entertained was so kind and thoughtful. SO clean and comfortable!! Thank you for providing a home away from home!

Perfect stay with perfect hostess
This home was very comfortable and well-appointed. If you have ever stopped and said, "I wish I would have remembered to bring....", this hostess is for you. She thought to have it available to you. My husband enjoyed the nautical theme throughout the home-tastefully decorated. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing
It was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. My 13 year old used the bunk bed and loved it. She is 5'7. We couldn't find a lighter for the fireplace so I sent a text. In 2 minutes they were knocking on the door with one. I did more cooking there than most probably. If you're planning to do that bring a few pans as there's not much there.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. We are a tv show that sponsors disabled vets to hunt in MO. We rent a VRbo every year and by far this is the best one yet. We will return for sure. The host was very accommodating to us. Just fantastic is all I can say. We look forward to staying there again.

This was perfect a place to stay for my senior parents and I during my sister’s wedding weekend. The amenities were great (coffee and breakfast items, towels, linens, everything you could need) so we didn’t have to just rush to the store after our arrival. This place was so, so clean and comfortable and we loved the cute Halloween decorations. I would definitely recommend this over any of the hotels in Harrisonville!

Tranquil and Top of the Line Accommodations
You will lack for nothing in this accommodation. Our hosts thought of everything. They even supplied us with our breakfast needs. It was extremely clean and very restful. There was a back patio we were able to enjoy a cocktail on. Beds were very comfortable with tons of pillows. Debbie had it so cutely decorated for fall and Halloween. This is our second visit to this VRBO, and we would come again. Top rate place to stay.

Little slice of heaven with the best host you could ask for.
This place is a perfect mix of country yet close enough to the city. Super comfortable and had anything we could have ever needed. They were even kind enough to leave toys for our girls before we arrived. I really could not put into words how thankful I am for such a kind and caring host. After both of my kiddos and husband got sick she extend our checkout and even offered a discount if we needed to extend our stay. I will most definitely be staying here again when visiting family. Definitely a place to retreat
We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet peaceful retreat. We had a wedding venue in Pleasant Hill which was 20 minutes from this retreat. Very clean and owners left waffle mix and eggs to make breakfast.

Three of us wanted to stay close to the home of a friend in Peculiar and this was the perfect location. Very quiet out in the country yet only minutes from the Highways that took us all over the Kansas City area! The accommodations were cozy and our host was right upstairs if we needed anything. Very convenient!

We were in town for a funeral and this place was big enough for my family and mother-in-law. It is clean, the decorating and furniture is fresh and new and the hostess room great care of us. There were always plenty of keurig pods for the adults in the morning. Also, comfortable pillows. We would Absolutely stay again.

Perfect in every way
This place was beautiful and peaceful and surrounded by nature. The premier hosts took such good care of this place. They went above and beyond in making sure that every aspect of our visit with them was perfect. We had waffles, and bacon, and orange juice. Their cupboards had all the necessary elements, such as coffee, peanut butter, etc. It was beautifully decorated. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The patio was perfect for a cocktail or two. The beds were so comfortable, the pillows were perfect. It was peaceful and just what we needed for our stay.

Hidden Gem
We had an excellent 2 night stay. The hosts were very kind, helpful, non-intrusive, and very responsive to messages and requests. The unit was very clean, decorated with love, and a great size for 5 adults. Being it was in the basement, we could hear day time activity upstairs, but it was nothing disruptive. Overall, great little find just outside of KC. 👍🏼

Perfect Mini Family Vacation
We wanted to see the WWI Museum and the Steamboat Arabia, but we didn’t want to stay in the city. This little refuge is only a 40 minute drive with easy access to main highways. We loved the quiet atmosphere and cute decor. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with appliances and dishes, so eating a full meal in is no problem. The hosts welcomed our four boys with open arms, and we were sad to have to return home.

Home away from home! No impersonal hotels for us.
This property was perfect for our weekend visit with my brother, who is fighting cancer. We wanted the comforts of home and a serene, relaxing setting, which this property provided. I was able to cook a home meal, bake my 89 year old father a birthday cake and enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio and chill. We will definitely book again upon return visits.

The unit is even nicer than the pictures. I stayed while traveling for business. It was warm, very clean and very tastefully/ comfortably furnished. It was so peaceful that I could relax after the long shifts. The host responded to inquiries within minutes. I very much enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend!

I stayed here with my wife and sons for two nights in the middle of a cross-country road trip and this was exactly what we needed. We wanted to experience Kansas City, but wanted a quieter place to relax and have a bit more space than urban rentals tend to have. The property was perfect! It was clean, quiet, spacious, had comfortable beds, and all of the other amenities as described. It was easy to find and only about a half hour easy drive from KC. Deb was a wonderful host. She was easy to reach and provided many thoughtful details such as waffle mix, bacon, juice, and soda in the fridge as well as games for the kids and even chocolates on the pillows when we arrived! We would definitely stay again!

What a delight to find a place to stay near family in an area where such up to date places are rare. We enjoyed our stay, especially chatting on the shaded patio with a light breeze blowing through. The landscaping and openness of the property were an extra treat. All thumbs up!
