"Nice hotel, pretty standard layout, a little old now and tied in places by the look of it room is clean decor from the 1980s at Best functional, Service was pretty friendly on checking. "I liked the location best. It is easy to access and centrally located in town; very walkable. The staff is very attentive and willing to help. Breakfast and other food options are excellent. Parking is not on-site and closest is a paid lot one hundred meters from the inn. Our room was directly above the street and entrance to the inn, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, I recommend Temperance Inn."

"The Hideaway is located only a 5 minute walk from the village centre and a 20-30 minute walk down to the ferry and all the cafes, pubs and restaurants at Bowness. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. However, the most memorable feature was the breakfast which was the best we have ever had, the choice was excellent. To top it all there was a choice of home made cake everyday to take with you for your walk. I would definitely stay there again."

"We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected.
