"We spent a couple days exploring the Buffalo River area and were looking for a nice hotel to base our trip out of. The lobby looks immaculate in the pictures, and the lobby was probably the best feature of the hotel. The staff wasn’t terribly helpful, the rooms were small and oddly arranged, their breakfast consisted of granola bars, there was no convenient food reasonably close, and the rooms felt dated and worn. "The cabin had a few nonperishables in the cupboard which we used for dinner the first night because it was too late to find the grocery store. The view and bedroom amenities were excellent. The directions to the cabin were good and the host was available to assist on the phone."

"The rooms were clean, communication was good. But there was no dishwasher. We had to clean all our utensils. Also the paper towels and toilet papers were not new. They were used and it was almost empty. We had to buy toilet papers on our own."

"This beautifully restored home reminded me of my mamaw’s home and filled my husband and I with warm childhood memories. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. We felt safe. The location was great! We had a great time exploring all around the area. It’s close to many day trip options like Jasper and Boxley Valley! The hot tub was the reason we chose it originally and it was great but the house was even better than expected. We would stay here again if we return to the area. "
