This beautifully restored home reminded me of my mamaw’s home and filled my husband and I with warm childhood memories. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. We felt safe. The location was great! We had a great time exploring all around the area. It’s close to many day trip options like Jasper and Boxley Valley! The hot tub was the reason we chose it originally and it was great but the house was even better than expected. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

INCREDIBLE stay. We had the best time staying here. We were able to host family comfortably and our four children had plenty of room to play. Everything was clean and inviting. The downstairs is open and perfect for gathering. The home is adorable and it’s a great neighborhood and location. The front porch and hot tub were HUGE BONUSES! Host was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more !! Thankful for wonderful memories made here !

The property needs updating. The took some great pictures originally and are living off of those. The inside was well kept but needs updating to the little things like shower heads, cabinetry, screen doors, etc. The landscaping outside has not been down in years. The sidewalk is a mess! The home itself is very homey, quiant, and comfortable. Its a shame the others things are taking away from it.

Would Stay Again!

The property was just as pictured online. Unlike most places, it came with a lot of amenities though. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook. In addition to the normal items there was a coffee maker, air fryer, crock pot, toaster, and all the pots and pans you could ever need. The host even provided some toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent. There were some games and plenty of books. The host provided plenty of towels which was great. I did contact the host because I had a question before my stay and they got back to me very quickly which I appreciated. My family enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Nice Older House in a good location

The property was well kept and clean. Everything we needed was available. Hot tub was a nice addition. Yard was large but too cold to really take advantage. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals in. The communication and check in and out were easy.,

Christmas trip!

The house was exactly like it was shown online. Spacious enough for our group of 8 to relax and enjoy themselves. We used the kitchen to cook some meals. Better organized & filled drawers would be helpful. The only other minor downside was lack of outlets in the bedrooms, but it is an old house. (Just want others to be prepared.) Easy to make a quick run to Walmart, fast food, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay!

Place needs a proper cleaning, furniture is very uncomfortable and not very clean bedding was very poor quality no matching flatware, pots and pans are worn out hot tub was awesome location is very old run down neighborhood house could be amazing with some nice furniture and a good clean

The home was in a perfect location, close to my son's home and the airport. It is very large, with 4 bedrooms, a nice large kitchen and kitchen table, a comfy couch, and a sweet porch.

This house is perfect for a family!

We had 6 kids with us ranging from 11 months to 15 years old. This house was absolutely perfect! Besides the low scented plug-ins and a Bible left on a low shelf the property is very baby proof, you can even use the pocket doors in the livingroom to close off the stairs so the baby can't reach them. The older kids loved the hot tub and there was plenty of space for us to stretch out when we needed time by ourselves. The house has fun toys for the kids which kept them very entertained. The other thing I have to brag on is the beds! I have a bad back and the beds are firm, but oh so soft and the comforter was like a cloud. It was like being snuggled in the softest nest every night. The air conditioner also worked perfectly and kept us very comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this property as we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The neighborhood is safe and we felt comfortable returning even late at night. If this property is available definitely book it, you won't regret it!

Totality Hospitality

This lovely house was a great place to stay while enjoying the total solar eclipse and activities along the Buffalo National River. The kitchen is well-appointed and the living room is comfortable. There is a big backyard and surrounding neighborhood for walking dogs. The neighbors are also friendly and made us feel welcomed!

Nice place

Overall our stay was great! Beautiful older home with alot of unique things you normally dont see in newer homes. Nice quiet neighborhood and beautiful views! Enjoyed the hot tub. Had a little trouble with the jets but the host got back with me promptly. Plenty of room for everybody. Plenty of towels etc. the hot water couldve been a bit hotter but perfect for a family with kids that dont want them to get burnt. Looking forward to booking it again in the future!
