I was appalled by the condition of the room and all the common areas. The common areas looked like they had not been dusted or vacuumed toe months. The elevator has not been wiped down and there were messy finger print marks every where.
I wished I had gloves when I had to push the button.
The entire ceiling was water damaged and was flaking. It was repaired by an amateur who was just covering it up.
There was one section by the bathroom that had a huge piece of drywall screwed to the ceiling.
The bathroom tap dripped and had lime deposits all over it.
The bathroom ceiling was warped, discoloured and absolutely the most disgusting thing you would ever expect in a hotel.
The air conditioner was literally balanced on the edge of the windowsill and a metal strap was holding it in place.
The room was unsanitary and in my opinion has many health and safety issues.
We asked the front desk to help and would not offer another room. The only solution was to give us a refund for 3 of the 4 nights.
We left 3 messages and 3 emails for the manager to contact us.
Nothing.
It was 2 in the morning and we ended up at the most wonderful hotel in the world. Triple the money but my wife and I could not stomach the thought of spending one night there.
