"When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! "Te Mahuru is a most exceptional, beautiful, very clean and overall, a perfect place to stay. Jen went out of her way to be accommodating and we give thanks t the highest rating possible. The gardens and views were spectacular, the hot tubs were lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread each morning and plenty of great choices. The patio off our room was very private and comfortable for sitting with a cup of tea gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background....

We were looking for something new and different and Wacky Stays delivered. It is not a brand new dwelling so please manage your expectations. "When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...

"An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money."

"Wonderful different place to stay. Small compact and impeccable. Comprehensive personalised checkin, comfortable bed and great little toilet. Very well appointed and loved the breakfast options in the the truck which included fresh bread, free range eggs, delicious jam, cereals milk tea and coffee. If youve ever wanted to stay in a house truck then stay here. Its very cool. Cheers"
