  • Awesome location with Mimbres valley and Black Range mountain views. Nearby Lake Roberts and Gila Cliff Dwellings. Over the mountain from Silver City. Gated and fenced three acre property, great for pets to run around on. Geodesic dome in secluded area. Incredible night skies with very little light pollution. Full turn around if you need to pull a trailer. Solar electric property. Don't be surprised if you see deer or elk grazing on the property! Amazing and unique vacation home you won't forget!

Very comfortable and well equipped. It’s nice to find a pet friendly property when so many won’t allow them. The house is set on a large plot which affords privacy. Overall a very nice experience.

Great spot for quiet relaxation

Quirky and cool house on a large lot with wonderful views of the mountains. Had a great time here with our kids discovering the Mimbres valley and the surrounding areas! House is showing its age a bit but no major issues and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!

Outdoor adventures

Had a great time with family visiting the Gila Cliff Dwellings and taking hikes in the beautiful countryside. Geodesic dome house was truly a unique experience that we will never forget!

Awesome home. Unique property. Loved the views from the huge windows and deck. Close to the National Forest for hiking and the Cliff Dwellings.

Eccentric house

What an eccentric place! I loved reading about the history of the property and seeing all the out buildings. We appreciated the old books and enjoyed the quiet night sky! Convenient place for us to stay during an archery tournament nearby. Thank you for sharing this special place.

Just what we needed!

The remote desert setting was exactly what we hoped for. Lots of quiet, beautiful scenery, and no interruptions. The home was spacious, homey, and very comfortable. Although it was just my husband and I getting away a family of four or five can easily enjoy this beautiful home.

Amazing dog friendly house

We fell in love with this place. The views and sunrises were memorable! I am not a morning person but got up every morning to see the sun rise. We loved the geodome and the interesting features. It was wonderful to have 3 acres of fenced in yard to let the dogs roam. It was perfect for me and my siblings to meet up so our dogs could play.

Beautiful space

I'd never been to that area of New Mexico before and must say it is lovely. Enjoyed the quiet and beautiful night skies from the deck. Will admit that the spiral staircase was a little too much for us to manage at the end of the day. The geodesic dome is definitely cool.

Beautiful oasis outside Gila National Forest

This property is a real gem! The thoughtfulness of all the amenities from shampoo to dish soap to coffee, teas and a vast array of spices. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The interior is clean, the bedding and towels were clean and in great shape. The master had an adorable seating area. A lot of thought was put in to the decor and it really shows! We would stay here again in a heart beat!

3 Week Stay

We enjoyed our 3 week stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owner is very nice and quick to respond to any concerns or questions you have. Internet has been very reliable. Pictures are accurate. No complaints - would definitely stay again.

Dome home oasis

What a delightful property to relax and be cozy comfortable in. The best part for us was the accessibility of the interior. I use a walker and need a recliner to sleep in. There was no problem getting around inside. Slight challenge with the outside stairs but they were very sturdy and newly built. Highly recommend this property

Enchanting

Our two weeks on the property were simply enchanting. The dome house met all of our expectations. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed is comfy. House is clean and spacious with wonderful window perches overlooking the Mimbres valley. Quiet and private, a perfect base for exploring the diverse area.

Unique property, great hosts

Unique property, comfortable and clean. Gorgeous dark night skies, super quiet. Private w fenced perimeter. Safe for pet. Well supplied with what you need, great communication w hosts. Go to the log cabin for pizza, living harvest for bread.
