Biggest motel failure around

the room smelled of cig. smoke no mirrors at all in room, holes all in walls, side by side fridge in room but fridge side didnt cool ,a/c didnt cool room.i rate the motel a failure of all motel and hotel around i will never go to it again will sleep on side of street before sleep going there again .

This was a disappointing motel. The carpet was pretty dirty and the tub was gross. Towels were very used and rough. He didn’t have our reservation at check in, and then tried to charge us more than it was, so I showed him the reservation email. Then he agreed to the price we had on the reservation. No breakfast or ice. On the positive side, the WiFi worked well and we had lots of cable channels once I got the tv to work. overall I could not recommend this hotel.

Had to evacuate

The unit next to ours caught fire and we had to evacuate. The police and fire department arrived and we were in the parking lot for 2.5 hours. The firemen were excellent and got our stuff out after it was safe to go in, Smokey but we got everything back. The hotel owner/manager relocated us to another wing not impacted with all the smoke and water damage. He tried hard to ensure we were looked after. kudos to him, the fire and police departments. Made for an exciting night

What can i say, staff was over and above helpful and friendly. Conditions were as expected. It would have been nice to have coffee in rooms, but gas station next door helped. Other than that, perfect experience

Fraudulent charges after leaving

I booked this hotel specifically because it said it was pet friendly. When I arrived, I checked off the box for "pets". I indicated I had multiple dogs. I asked for a non smoking room. I got my key, went to the room, and it was rancid. I went back to the lobby to get a non smoking room as requested. I was put in the room beside it. The free wifi did not work, 99% of the time. We needed to pay payroll that night, and were unable to do so. Every single time I left the room, or my mom left the room, the owner was hovering and making us feel uncomfortable. When we left, he came over very angrily asking if I had more than one dog. I indicated yes, as I had checked off 'pets' on the check in form and said we were on our way to our National specialty. They slept in crates. He became threatening and attempted to open my van by force, at which time I asked him to back away. Upon getting home, I checked my banking and noticed he put through an additional $20 charge WITHOUT my knowledge or consent after I left. I have disputed this, as there was no reason for it. I identified multiple dogs upon check in, I cancelled my room for my return visit in writing (and then through the hotels.com site), and I felt the owner was threatening toward myself and my animals. I would NEVER ever recommend anyone ever stay here.

Horrible experience. 1/10. Would not stay there.

I booked my room on Hotels.com. Was not able to put a check in time for when I would check in. Booked the room for Friday and Saturday night with a check out date on Sunday. Got there at 530-6am Friday. Walked in the building and no one was at the front desk. The room smelled god awful. Waited a few minutes with still no one coming to the front desk. Called the phone number so the phone would ring loud for people to hear it a few times. After 20min of waiting there I finally left. I never checked in. An hour later I go to cancel my room and was told I would be charged a $38 cancellation fee (which is the cost of the room for one night) since they don't offer refunds after check in times. But I never checked in. I never put a check in time. And this was at 7am.

Keep looking!

The pictures listed on hotels.com are not accurate. My guess is that they remodeled a couple rooms to use for pictures. The initial room I was given smelled of smoke so bad that I about vomited. When I returned to the office & stated I wanted a non-smoking room (which was what I had reserved to begin with), the lady looked at me like I had three heads. When placed in the second room, it wasn't much better. It looked nothing like the pictures and was filthy. I didn't even want to put my dog's bed on the floor. Fortunately, I had some Lysol wipes with me and gave everything a wipe down. The bathroom tub had two dirty washcloths/rags lying in it not to mention the bathroom floor rugs were filthy as well. There's one light for the entire room so plan on getting up to turn it off when you're ready for bed...that's if you want to lay in the bed. The sheets were so dingy all I could think about were the no tell things that had happened there. Let me not forget about the half dozen mystery pills laying on the concrete outside the door. My suggestion...pay a couple more dollars & keep searching for another place to lay your head. It should have been a clear sign to me when there was one car in the parking lot (which I later noticed had 2 flat tires & expired license plates and is in the pictures listed during a completely different season).

Was treated terrible at only other hotel in town...Was not sure about this place but was very surprised at service we received and cost was better for the situation

If all you need to do is sleep............

Its a very basic hotel, retro 80's. The bed and room was clean, just not modern.
