Cosy and clean apartment unit. Our family stayed two nights here over Easter. Location was handy however can get noisy as it’s literally directly above restaurants.
Manager’s response prior to the trip was always prompt and helpful.
HOWEVER, when it came time to check in it was a total nightmare. Firstly there was zero instructions on finding this “unit 8” in a multi unit block that was incorrectly the numbered (on the confirmation email it was number 8, but in reality there was no 8 at all, with only an upstairs unit 4), and no one could be contacted at 6pm on a Saturday night for our check in confusion. There was no communication until the next morning, after we presumably checked ourselves into the wrong unit and fretting all night. 😳
In addition, there was zero sound insulation between the adjoining units. We could hear EVERYTHING going on next unit. ☹️
I discovered afterwards that all our woes, including the poor check in process (wrong unit numbering, poor instructions on getting in) was already mentioned by other travelers since 2020. Ditto with their comments on the lack of wifi, and broken extractor fans.
Come on managers and owners, please step up and sort this out, it’s been three years!!!
