My husband and I (mid 60's) brought my parents (late 80's) up for a dinner concert at Family Life Ministries in Kanona. We had a lovely time in this very clean and well maintained home. There were a lot of niceties, to include a fresh, small container of coffee for the drip coffee pot. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and lovely plate-ware. It was winter and windy, but the house is snug and there were no drafts. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location but issues with cleanliness

Pros: Great location walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Nice kitchen and living room. Cons: We found multiple dirty dishes in the cabinet with mouse droppings on them. I messaged the host and received no reply. The bedroom doors and stairs were extremely creaky and loud. Any movement will wake up the whole house. The shower knob does not work properly and it is only possible to get extremely hot water or cold water. Nothing in between.

Country retreat

The house was very clean and comfortable. Had everything you need for a home away from home feel, nicely furnished.The rental agent stayed in touch as well if anything was needed. I would stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent place to stay!

The reason for how we did not enjoy our stay is because three out of four of us got Covid a few days in to our trip!🤒 This was not anything due to VRBO! We would have had a lovely time, if we had all been well. Ended up going to the hospital in Bath, NY, to get tested.

Wonderful small house

House was perfect for 2, clean. Walking distance to Hammondsport Downtown. Stocked with coffee and cleaning supplies. Would suggest fixing front glass door so it will lock when we are in the house.

Great place to stay

This was a lovely little home that's really conveniently located! It's a quick walk to downtown Hammondsport, which has a lot of little shops and restaurants, and is right on Lake Keuka. It's also about a 15 minute drive to some of the wineries on Lake Keuka, and only about a 30 minute drive to those on Lake Cayuga. The check-in process was really easy and the home itself was clean upon our arrival. I would definitely stay here again!

Finger Lake Getaway

During our 2 week stay at the Finger Lakes at various locations, this was the best of the houses we rented. Communication and check in went perfect. Walking distance to all the sights in town as well as the waterfront itself.

Sweet little house in Hammondsport

We really enjoyed our stay in Hammondsport! Loved all the little details of this newly refurbished place. Great to have a/c on two very humid days. Well equipped with comfy beds; all the bases covered in the kitchen. A couple of minor things need to be worked out (internet access and dishwasher detergent) but all else fine.

nice getaway

The house was very clean in a nice neighborhood. Comfortable seating, lots of towels, nice bathrooms and very light and bright. Mattresses were okay, but I'm older and arthritic bones need something a bit softer. The kitchen was very nice and seemed to have everything you need, but we didn't cook in it because we ate big meals out, so no major cleanups for us! It would have been good to have some instructions on what to do with garbage, since the bin was overflowing when we got there. We would have put it out on Tuesday if we had known that was garbage day. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay and well worth the cost. We would stay here again!

Terrible, unhygenic, pathetic

This is the worst experience I ever had with vacation rentals this house was terrible - The house had foul smell specially bathrooms - blankets and comforter were un clean and smelly - the photos are manipulated actual size of house is way too smaller than this - parking space is very very small - internet did not work - dish washer had old water accumulated making thingns unhygenic VRBO please do not promote such fraud listings
