"The cabins are cute and situated above the water with a nice view. The area is very nice and quiet and walkable out in the country. The cabins are dated with vintage kitchenettes and very basic furniture. You need to bring pretty much everything. Keeping in mind these are geared toward fishermen, a few added amenities could justify doubling the rates during the high season when they're kind of an overflow to the A-Bay vacation crowd. Added TP, paper towels, and a better mattress in the main...

"Didn't get to meet any staff personally, but the response to messages was prompt and friendly. Room was clean with little extras like swan towel and a welcome tray and parking was close to front door and set aside specifically for the guests. The only drawbacks some ppl might have, would be a shared kitchen and the stairs to get to rooms, but even I have had double knee replacement and was able to do them pretty easily, just taking my time. And we didn't mind the shared kitchen, it was stocked...

"This was hands down the coolest place we have ever stayed! A converted primary school in to a bed and breakfast. The rooms are MASSIVE! The beds were heavenly. Every detail was thought through. The hosts were welcoming and so knowledgeable about the area’s history. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you are in the area this is a must stay. So different from anything else. Can’t recommend enough! "

"Very disappointing stay. Check-in was listed as 2 PM but we were told 4 PM and had to wait in the parking lot for nearly two hours. The first room was dirty with unmade beds, and the second room was also poorly cleaned (dirty bathroom, wrinkled sheets, surfaces not properly cleaned). The steps to the parking area were also a fall hazard. The only positive was the kind check-in staff, but overall cleanliness, safety, and communication were unacceptable. Would not return."
