House was clean and had many interesting art pieces and books. TV was very good and all amenities were as described. I would definitely consider staying again. This a on excellent location with a short trip to New Haven for lots of great places nearby. "

"The property is a gem! Beautiful Arts & Crafts woodwork!Nicely appointed and yet comfortable. Kitchen is large and could accomodate all of us gathered at once. Coffee on the front veranda overlooking the water made for a perfect setting. The neighbors and dogs strolling by the made us feel welcome too. "

"The Lake House was AMAZING! With its 5 great size bedrooms ( privacy for everyone) . 3 full baths, with plenty of hot water, for the many showers after a day in the lake The 1/2 bath on first floor was a nice bonus to have with such a large crowd! The large, fully stocked kitchen, with its large island and even larger peninsula (plus a view of the lake) made preparing, cooking and serving meals most enjoyable! We appreciated the cleanliness of all rooms especially the kitchen and bathrooms...

Stacey is the perfect host, with a brilliant eye for decor, in terms of style and comfort. It’s a spectacular little place and in good weather it’s twice the size because of the idyllic outdoors area. Guilford is beautiful and everything was so convenient. I fell in love with this place and I will be back. "
