el lugar es muy tranquilo y esta cerca de tiendas de conveniencia, muy accesible para todo. Es un hotel muy cómodo y muy bien ubicado pero lo que no me gusto es que no asean los cuartos ya que me quede 4 dias y ni siguiera dejan toallas diario. Pedimos tollas y shampoo y tardaron mucho para traerlas. Mi hijo y mi hermana fueron picados por pulgas lo que nos causo mucha incomnodidad porque ni siquiera recogian la basura.

This Microtel is getting very worn, needs an update . Not suprising since heavy use, staff all pleasant just a tired property.

I grew up in the area, the Appalachian trial is a mile or 2 away, along with rails to trails a quarter mile away. Cabela's is acroos Rt. 61 along with Walmart and dining options all within walking distance or a 2 minute car ride. Fishing,Hiking and biking Berks County has it all. And the jacuzzi suits area my favorite place to unwind after a day of fun in the area. Pappy T's lounge is connected to the hotel, so you never have to leave the building for a night of drinks and dining, if you so choose.

The stay at the hotel was fine but I’ve been charged twice for the room. I paid through Expedia and then another charge through the hotel directly.

It was an older place. The room stunk off cigarettes. The breakfast consisted of bagels and cold cereal.

They had a band in the back of the property that played late into the evening at the restaurant at the back of the hotel. Asked for receipt when checking out and was refused to give one, saying I had to go thru Expedia, but I paid at the site, tried to get in touch with manager and he never called me back after asking twice. still haven't gotten a receipt for charges.

Smokey smell everywhere or greasy smell. Many signs of smoking fines , guess people will pay the fines. Had my coat on a chair in room and smelled like smoke the next day.

The property looks fine from the outside - it's a budget hotel chain. The manager was unable and/or unwilling to accept our booking made through Expedia and was furthermore unable or unwilling to either cancel the booking or adjust the booking - despite direct calls from Expedia and despite having room availability. Very strange and unpleasant experience. Thankful to Expedia for resolving the issue and finding us a beautiful hotel down the road for the same price.

Choice at breakfast was very limited. The person in charge was not very motivated and arrived late. The staff at the reception was not to efficient and helpful.

Our hotel stay was excellent. The room was immaculate and everything was clean. The only thing we found that we found fault with is there was no coffee pot or microwave in the room. When we stayed before there was everything in the rooms plus it was dog-friendly. We wish that they didn't remove those things. The staff when we got there was very pleasant but the next person was apparently very unhappy. He never smiled or thanked us for choosing the Microtel. That's probably petty for some but important to us.

Terrible experience. Toilet got clogged and the front desk told us the hotel didn’t have a plunger and they couldn’t help, we had to go to the lobby to use the restroom for the rest of our stay. The fire alarm in the room started to chirp indicating it needed to be served and the chirping keep us up the final night. Do not stay here.

Pleasant as usual
We stay in this property at least 4-5 times a year and have always had a good experience. this stay was no different but we were shocked by the lack of choices on the breakfast buffet. We were told the selection was limited due to the fact that they had not had a delivery in weeks. The room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the property. Nice to have Pappy T's in the hotel itself for a quick dinner on Friday evening.

Rooms size was okay and it was easy to find. Thats about it in the positive side. The staff seemed to be unhappy about our stay, the "breakfast" didnt really exist. Would recommend that Hotel in any way.

I paid $35 extra for a suite because it was pictured with a jacuzzi; but it didn't exist. They had the parking lot snowplowed in the wee hours of the morning, which woke us up. Pillows were flat/worn out; and the bed felt pretty small for a "queen." The place is clearly due for some upgrades; but they're the only game in town. I will say that despite all this, the staff was clearly doing their best to keep services like the bar/restaurant and (free) breakfast available despite a massive winter storm. I was really grateful for their efforts.
