Gorgeous house, great location

Delivered everything that was expected. We really enjoyed our stay. It is expensive, however., Perhaps this is relative to the area, we have experienced much of Victoria at lower prices.

Galton in th Gap is a gem.

A spotlessly clean and very convenient home from home, great view from the large deck with friendly avian visitors, fairy wrens, kookaburra, magpies, rosellas and not to forget the cockatoos. Every comfort you could need, Thank you Roslyn and Daryl

Our Stay in at the Golton

Beautiful home with lots of board games and DVDs for families to enjoy. Very Clean and so close to everything. It rained like cats and dogs but staying in such nice accommodations made it ok.

Fantastic space for two young families to share. Clean, great sized bedrooms and fabulous entertaining kitchen/ lounge area. Great location in Halls Gap. Roslyn & Daryl were great with communication and queries. Highly recommend.

Grampians luxury at Golton in the Gap

Our stay at Golton in the Gap was perfect from start to finish. From the first contact, Roslyn and Daryl were excellent and prompt communicators. They even gave me tips for the few pieces of kitchen equipment I would need to cook our Christmas dinner. The digital guidebook was comprehensive, and so useful throughout our stay. We loved the location just a short walk from town (and the emus en route who we had to visit just to farewell before we left!). The views from the deck were sensational, and the cockatoos and kookaburras joined us frequently when we ate our meals or relaxed with a drink and a book. Inside the home is spacious with a clever layout and very good finishes. Because we were staying for Christmas, it also sparkled with extra little Christmas touches and treats. The welcome gifts were so generous! The kitchen was well supplied with all the essentials, and my husband loved the Nespresso machine. We barely used the air conditioning units because we had perfect weather and the home is so well insulated. The crisp white sheets were high quality and the firm mattress helped us sleep well after spending our mornings hiking and exploring the Grampians. The hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was great. Special mention to the luxurious bath! We can’t wait to return. Do not hesistate – Golton in the Gap is a must stay!

Golton

We could not fault this property. The location was perfect. The house is definitely 5 stars. Modern, extremely clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds and linen were luxurious. Bathrooms were large. Has a lovely verandah to sit and enjoy the view and sunshine. Have been coming two to three times a year to Halls Gap and we have found our perfect place to stay.

Beautiful home, warm and comfy

This house is great for 1 or 2 families, I love that the main bedroom is separated from the other bedrooms, so you can come together in the lounge room or have some peace and quiet. It was well-maintained, everything was easy to operate and there was plenty of kitchen equipment and storage (like plastic containers for food), which I have often found is not the case in rental accomodation. Easy walk into town, easy to get around. Relaxing to stay at home with the fire or experience the Grampians!

Amazing property

Amazing property, modern, very well appointed and immaculately clean. Wheelchair access with plenty of room to move. The deck has a lovely Northern aspect, plenty of sunlight and view overs of the grampians. Comms. with owners great. We had a lovely time

Great place to visit!

Very clean and well appointed. The batteries in some of the remote controls needed changing and the soap on tap that was provided was not very effective, but otherwise a lovely place to stay.

It ticked all the boxes and some more

Property was as advertised and ticked all the boxes for us. For those who like to stay connected, the phone reception at the property was good, which is often a problem in Halls Gap. Moreover, the internet worked very well, which kept a couple of kids very happy at night.
