高い割には普通かな！悪いところはないけど、特筆すべき点も特にはない。 温泉街では良い方なのかな？ 部屋は良かったと思うが、外国人だらけ。 チェックイン時に風呂用の檜のブロックをもらったが、アメニティも勧めて欲しかった。 後からもらいに行ったが気配りがやっぱ日本人とは違うかなと。

Gorgeous property with very many nice amenities. The fun foot spa was a treat. You can order drinks and snacks and enjoy a nice foot soak while looking out over the river. Very attentive staff. Very well treated.

Most importantly the hotel has a shuttle from/to the Gora train station (10am-6pm). Make sure you call them otherwise you will suffer trying to go down steep and narrow steps with luggage thinking it is a short walk. We had booked a room for 3 and there is only one bed. Had to not only pay for the sofa bed but also breakfast for our child which is very odd considering the booking was for 3. The shelf in the room had a serious amount of dust buildup which is very unusual for Japan. The balcony hot spring and the hotel hot spring are absolutely amazing. Make sure you take advantage!

This hotel is beautiful. Love the decor. Very clean and loved the in room onsen. View was not the best. It wasn’t river view which would have been fabulous. The hotel is a 30 minute drive from Odawara Station. The hotel has a free shuttle service with limited time slots. For rest and relaxation this is a great hotel.

The most stunning hotel, onsen in each room, great decor, staff very helpful. The shuttle bus to the station was helpful. Hotel general onsen was immaculate and we loved the robes and wooden slippers in our room! Snacks and drinksin the bar were a great touch too

Lovely room, huge by Japan standards. We had a private onsen facing the river and the flowing water sound was very relaxing. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good, the breakfast had a huge selection of choices to fit various tastes. It’s pricey but normal for the area, and the service is excellent so you get what you pay for. We enjoyed our time and would stay again.

Everything is nice! Just that the shuttle to Odawara station needs to be reserved early in advance. Public transport around the area is very slow, so the only alternative to the shuttle is calling a taxi, which is expensive.

This hotel was exquisite. Very friendly and attentive staff. Transportation to and from train stations was readily available. The attention to detail was impeccable! The in room Onsen was an extra bonus. The public ones were well kept and great option. Restaurant was delectable! Overall I would recommend and come back to.

Extremely clean and welcoming place! Service is top notch. One small thing to note that it is almost impossible to walk here from Gora. Although Google shows a potentially flat path, it is down a very steep and long winding steps that was very dangerous. Do yourself a favor and please wait for the shuttle bus provided by the hotel. You can either wait for the timed one at Odawara or call the hotel for a pickup once you are at Gora. Otherwise 10/10 place for me.

very nice room and we loved the in-room private onsen. howevery, the location is a bit distant to all the major attractions. It was nice to have the shuttle bus to the stations.

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel Indigo Gora. We stayed for one night. Highlights were the public onsen spa and the spa tub in the hotel room. We made a reservation for dinner at the hotel and the food was wonderful! Breakfast was also lovely. Staff were helpful and very kind. Our only negative was the advice from the front desk about suggesting we take the hotel shuttle to odawara, instead of the train. They quoted it would take 45 mins door to door, and said it was faster than taking the train. We allowed loads of time (1hr45mins) for us to get to our Shinkansen train in odawara. The shuttle was as so incredibly slow! Inching along the road, with mostly one way roads so you had to wait for oncoming traffic to pass first. We bus took 1hour45 mins exactly. We missed our train by 5 mins which was very frustrating after allowing so much time to get there, and we had to book another train to Tokyo where there was only availability 2 hours later. Strongly recommend going via the train, it’s much faster than taking the hotel shuttle.

Poor onsen experience and western dining.
Was looking for more of a Japanese dining experience. Disappointed that it was mainly western food. Onsen in the room was very tiny (basically the size of a bathtub), was NOT a relaxing experience. The only plus is staff was nice and professional. Overall I would not recommend.

The overall experience was great! The shuttle to the train station and to and from Gora was convenient. They also provided a cake for our anniversary at the restaurant which was a lovely .
