We would recommend the Peaceful & Private Studio on these secluded 12 acres. The host was welcoming, the amenities ample, and the accommodations clean and fresh. With the island breezes and tropical plants, made for a very quiet relaxing vacation.

Great stay at beautiful well managed property

My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The property is beautiful and the studio very clean, has everything you will need in a well designed, well kept space. Quiet at night and perfect if you love flora/fauna. Alejandro is a great host and was a really helpful responsive communicator.

Peaceful vacation spot

This location is serene, gorgeous, private and unique. We loved the cacophony of birds at dawn, the occasional gecko or mongoose in the yard, and the beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. Comfortable stay, with a working kitchen.

Bliss

This little cabin is a perfect, peaceful, out-of-the-way spot for accessing everything that Maui has to offer. It was our home base for surf lessons, whale watching, snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming. It's ten minutes from some of the greatest surf breaks in the world, so watching the pros do it is just an ordinary part of the day. Great food (especially in Makawao), but we also cooked a fair amount in Alejandro's unfancy but well-equipped kitchen. The birds and the stars from the cabin are ... just ... aaahhh.

Beautiful stay!

We enjoyed our stay immensely at this property in Haiku. It's a great spot to explore Upcountry as well as Paia and Hookipa. While there can be heavy rain showers in the area, it was quite charming from the property, to stay dry and enjoy the views. The unit is exceptionally clean and has everything one could need. Alejandro was v. responsive. As others have noted, there are occasionally some small critters in the units (lizards!), a facet of being in nature in this area! but they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them :) All in all, a great stay and we would definitely come back in future travels to Maui!

Rejuvenation in Nature

Three long-time friends sought respite and rejuvenation in the quiet surroundings of the property. The studio and lands are well cared for and inviting. The close proximity to Paia, Makawao and the road to Hana (10-15 minutes) offered a great jumping off point for day trips while the solitude of the property offered a quiet location to return to at the end of the day to rest, enjoy the company of great friends and bath in the sounds of nature -- bird song, gecko chirps and the wind in the trees. Would recommend to those seeking the natural beauty of Maui. Deep appreciation for sharing your property with guests.

Lovely and refreshing

We spent 2 nights at the property and it was my best stay in Maui. I loved waking up to the forests and the chirping birds … our host and their family let us hang out with their dogs who my toddler loved playing with… very tastefully and thoughtfully set up property and super close to paia which has some amazing beaches and restaurants … overall can’t thank the hosts for sharing their space with us…

Beautiful place and excellent host

If you are looking for a quiet getaway from the city noise - this is it! Very quiet and lovely - all you hear is the sounds of nature - the crickets and the birds! The layout is also very good - we were there with another couple and The units are connected by a foyer which made it very easy for family to stay together and easily dine together etc. Alejandro is a great host, very responsive and caring. Lots of geckos to see :) beach is just few minutes drive away and also close to Makaweo and Paia, as well as right at the beginning of road to Hana. Comfortable studio unit - large and spacious.

Maui's Hidden Gem

This was my first trip to Maui in almost 20 years and my first time staying at this property. What an amazing and beautiful place. I was looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful where I could enjoy my trip without being surrounded by other tourists. This place absolutely nailed it! This place was everything I could have hoped for and more. I spent 10 days at the property and rarely saw anyone else and felt as if I was staying at my own private resort. Waking up in the morning, brewing a fresh pot of coffee, and then sitting outside listening to nothing but the birds and rustling of the gorgeous palm trees was surreal. I am already planning my next trip to Maui and will be staying here again 100% As others have said in their review, the photos don't do this place justice and it's even more beautiful in person. As soon as you enter the property and drive up the long driveway you know you are somewhere special. The driveway is lined with the most beautiful palms and various fruit trees. After 10 days of staying here I have not one negative thing to say about this place other than you need to experience it for yourself. 10/10 from me!!

Beautiful, Charming, Serene

Our first impression as we made our way up the driveway was that we were arriving at a lush botanical garden. The farm is beautiful and we felt lucky to stay there. The studio itself was spotless and absolutely charming but even better than the photos because a photo can't capture the serenity of having all of the windows open and feeling the cool breezes and hearing the rain and birds. We wouldn't have known there were guests in the other studios if we hadn't caught a glimpse of them getting into vehicles from the kitchen window. Instructions and contact with Alejandro were good. We were only there three nights and wished we'd been able to stay longer.

Beautiful and very comfortable stay

Alejandro’s property is beautiful! It was easy to find. When we got out of the car we looked up to find the most visible stars we’d ever seen! It was breathtaking! This stay is out of the way a bit and an absolute perfect location for us as we saw the sunrise at Haleakalā and drove the road to Hana. I wish we had more time at the actual property because it was beautiful. Alejandro had everything we needed and check in and out was simple. Thank you, Alejandro for allowing us to spend our first stop on the island in your home!

Awesome spot near Paia and Hana

My friends and I loved staying at this studio, it had everything we needed, was comfortable, and close proximity to Paia and the road to Hana. The farm was beautiful and we enjoyed all the natural lighting. One suggestion we have for the host is to make a sign for each studio with the number so that guests can find their reserved studio more easily. Although, the directions provided were good enough! We would stay here again. :)

Beauty and Tranquility

Nestled in the pristine forest of this 12 acre property, you will find adorable studios where you can relax and really feel like you have gotten away from it all. We were very comfortable and Alejandro made us feel right at home with all of our needs being met. We will definitely return!
