Nice, calm residential area in the middle of the island. It was a great base without the resort congestion for day trips to anywhere on Maui. Host was super nice, helpful, and prompt on all communication.

While this is a perfect place to stay and bring your family, it was also very enjoyable for us traveling as a couple.We both love to cook and the kitchen and outside barbecue provided everything that we needed. The covered deck was amazing as rain came through or listening to the birds in the morning while we planned our day.The grounds and the views that surround us are all a 10This side of the island really does have the best restaurants. Mamas is renowned however, the locals go to Colleen’s 3 to 5 miles down the road.Baked on Maui is roughly the same distance and then in Paia you have several options- only 10 mins away.Dave and Natalie were great to visit with and it was a comfort, knowing that they were there if anything was needed.

I wish I could give this experience more stars. The hosts went above and beyond in every way. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and all of the amenities are top tier. Great linens, quality cookware and appliances, fragrance-free and non-toxic soaps, etc. We had plenty of room for our things and ourselves. We spent hours on the lanai, and walked the neighborhood every morning, enjoying views of the ocean and Haleakala. We used the washer and dryer many times. We had the best ten days on island…so much adventure and relaxation! We would absolutely come back and will recommend this spot to everyone we know.

A few days in paradise

We had such a a wonderful time at this house. The location was perfect for us, being in striking distance of beaches while giving flexibility to travel the entirety of Maui. It was clean, excellently maintained and the beach chairs and toys were such a nice touch.

Restful spot

We like to find quiet, out-of-the-way places to stay and this one is perfect. Beautiful location and property, attentive hosts, peaceful place to just relax. Hope to come back again!

There is a wonderful walk nearby. Go to the end of Hogs Back Rd, continue past the dead end and weave your way down through a lovely bamboo forest. Delightful.We spent three days exploring the area and loved coming back to our quiet respite. Dave and Natalie were helpful and available for any of our needs. It was a great experience.

The property was very nice and clean, with new furniture and appliances. Natalie and Dave were very responsive, accommodating, and generous. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a great location for exploring Maui. We don't enjoy staying in busy resort areas so this was a perfect, quiet option. Our group of five (parents, grandparents, and a teenager) all enjoyed this beautiful home. We had Costco deliver groceries when we first arrived and enjoyed cooking most meals on-site. The BBQ grill was a bit dirty and the hosts immediately remedied the situation by not just cleaning the grill, but by replacing it with a new one before we returned from our outing!! We enjoyed every part of the island, from sunrise at the National Park, to whale watching on the west coast and everything in between. We would recommended any one to stay at this home and hope it is available when we return to Maui!

Family Vacation

So peaceful and a wonderful way to start our first time on Maui- the property was zen-like. We wished we had spent our whole holiday there instead of staying at the beach for the second part of our stay. We will definitely return.

The perfect upcountry cottage

This cottage is a wonder - great location, beautiful interior and well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Our hosts were lovely. We spent 6 amazing days here and it's literally no more than 30 minutes from any upcountry and central Maui location. Stay here, you'll love it.

Peaceful Scenery

This place is fantastic and is a short drive to grocery store and restaurants. You will enjoy peace and quiet, horses, goats and chickens/roosters! Super clean and friendly hosts live in the main house on the property.

My husband, two daughters (ages 14 and 12), and I loved the location and house. The house had more than plenty of room and was gorgeous. Loved the outdoor wrap around covered deck and country feel. We would love to stay here again. The hosts are kind and helpful.

Great Rental in Haiku

Updated two bedroom cottage on welll manicured grounds. Very comfortable stay for our family of four. Great kitchen, bathrooms and washer/dryer. They even had beach towels, chairs, and sand toys for the kids. A bit of a drive to the West side of the Island but we were exploring and it was such a good value we didn't mind.

Peaceful paradise

We woke up everyday to paradise in Dave and Natalie’s lovely home. Our family of 6 enjoyed every minute. It was such a peaceful place to come home to after a long day at the beach. We also enjoyed the veranda for fun family time or just hanging out and enjoying the grounds. We will always treasure our 8 day stay.
