Propre, mais bruyant (construction en cour)

2e séjour ici. La construction d'un immeuble en face sert de réveil matin avant 7h am. Réservoir d'eau chaude beaucoup trop petit, ce qui fait que l'on manque vite d'eau chaude lors de la douche! Problème de tuyauterie qui produit un sillement 24h/24 à chaque 10-15 min. Malgré tout, endroit propre et bien situé. Chambre privé venant avec savon et shampooing. Dortoir malheureusement pas.

No vale lo que ofrece

Cortaban la luz todos los días de 20 a 22. El agua caliente salía los primeros 2 minutos. En la habitación hacia MUCHÍSIMO frío y el AC q supuestamente también era calor no funcionaba. El chico que solía estar en la recepción era muy poco amigable, hablaba poco inglés y varias veces le pedimos agua caliente Y me decía que no tenía (siendo que la cocina estaba a 3 metros de la recepción, literal). Tuve q ir y servirmela yo directamente, siendo q obviamente no podía entrar a la cocina. En La zona donde está el hotel estan haciendo muchas construcciones por lo que el ruido es constante. Las excursiones nos la ofrecieron a 18USD y la conseguimos a 11USD en otro hotel. Por otro lado la limpieza es muy buena. Lo reservamos por los buenos.comentarios que tenía pero tuvimos una mala experiencia.

Hotel location is ideal, a short walk into town (there is a small climb back up, but nothing too strenuous) and the beach. Breakfast is included, although it finishes at 9am so we missed it for 2 of our 4 mornings here (as a result of 2 great nights in town!) The room furnishings were standard and the room looked a little bit tired but our bed was huge and very comfortable. I do have to mention that we were woken each morning by a rooster. He goes on for a bit, but we had ear plugs so we were able to pop them in and go back to sleep. Just to note if you're a light sleeper! All in all, this is a no frills stay but served our needs.

I stayed in the dorm... it was really clean. Comfy bed. And the breakfast was delicious. No complaints at all. I’d stay again.

Prima hotel op een goede locatie. Personeel sprak goed Engels waarvan de een wat vriendelijker was dan de ander. Kamer is goed en ruim met grote bedden. Badkamer is alleen zeer teleurstellend, erg klein en alles wordt nat door het douchen...

Pros: The hot staff are nice and helpful. They will arrange tours, bus and motorbike rental. My room was clean and came with free coffee, tea and bath slippers. The private room had two fans and working AC Cons: unfortunately this hotel has has water damage. I booked a dorm room, soon as I walked in I knew I could not stay in there. I then changed to a private room, the room was nice but I could still smell the mold/mildew. The private room was not as bad as the dorm room. I only stayed two nights here.

Great staff, great price, BIG bed!

The hotel was located very close to all the action. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a massive bed. Overall a great stay. Only negative for us, it’s actually a hotel with dorm rooms. There are a lot of backpacker types. They would linger in the breakfast area taking up tables for too long after dining. New guest would come for breakfast and there would be no where to sit. Not the hotels fault that the younger guests were not considerate of other people. Just be aware of you are NOT looking for a hostel feel, be advise you’ll get one here. Again, great hotel, great staff.

ドミトリーに滞在しました。ベッドも広く、清潔で快適でした。徒歩圏内にたくさんのレストランがあり、宿泊し観光するのに困ることはないです。バイクもレンタル(たしか4ドル/日)できるので、ホテルからどこへでもアクセスできます。 外出する際、ほぼ毎回ドアを開けてくれたのが素晴らしかったです。ただ、一つ残念だったのが、受付の女性の対応が冷たかったことです。それさえ良かったらもう一度泊まりたいと思うホテルでした。

Comfortable stay

We spent three nights at Cannon Fort Cat Ba and enjoyed our stay. This is a no-frills hotel, but it suited us just fine. We stayed on the 5th floor and our room had a giant bed that was effectively 2 queen sized beds pushed together. The mattress was a bit hard for my liking, but my husband loved it. The air conditioning worked well and the room was quiet so we slept well during our stay. The room was very clean with nice, basic furnishings and a lovely view of the hill behind the hotel. We were grateful for the room safe since we could leave our valuables behind during our excursions. There were plenty of outlets to charge our many devices and the outlets accept type A (American) and type C (European) plugs so we didn’t need the converters we had brought. We were provided with 2 free water bottles daily, and there was a tiny market next door that was perfect for buying more. The location was ideal for exploring Cat Ba Town and the surrounding area. All the tour companies and restaurants were all under a 5 minute walk. Other reviewers have mentioned that the shower is set up to where the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. The hotel provides sandals for use in the bathroom so you won’t slip and we found that the wet bathroom dried rather quickly after showering – usually in a few hours. Breakfast was included. It’s made-to-order and not a buffet so leave yourself a little extra time. We found the kitchen to be quick and the omelets were delicious.

Great Place to stay on Cat Ba Island

The staff were very attentive and organised a motor bike at short notice without any fuss. Breakfast was made to order eggs, pancakes or local dishes plus fruit and coffee. When we checked out they helped us with our bus to Ninh Binh that didn’t arrive, we booked the bus in Hanoi. Wifi and hot water was fine. The only slight negative was that our window didn’t fully close.

Empfehlung für dieses Hotel

War im dorm - ist nicht wirklich nicht sehr groß, aber sehr gemütlich ( man hatte keinen richtigen Platz seinen Backpack abzustellen ). Sonst gemütliche Betten, jedoch keine privacy curtains. Bad war sauber, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

One night stay

Very basic hotel (although this is all you would expect for a price). We had a bit of “incident” in our room (with some bugs) and asked hotel staff to clean and check the room - but not too sure if they have done it (my husband killed it and once we have returned to the room we still could see a mark on the floor). Although you can’t blame a staff for it (can happen even in the most luxurious hotels) still I would expect a bit of more reaction from hotel. Staff helped us to organise a Halong Bay day trip for $18 each and it was great! Well recommended! But as per hotel ... hmmm I wouldn’t stay there again , although it’s perhaps more based on incident we had rather than hotel standards - I suppose you get what you pay for.

Good hotel, biggest bed I've ever slept in. Slight walk from the harbour, but nothing major. Breakfast is decent, cooked to order. Would stay here again.
