"A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area."

"It is located in a quiet and very beautiful part of the country. A perfect place to relax for a few days."

"A home away from home. Second year we’ve been here and it is perfect! The views are to die for, Carrie and Mike are phenomenal hosts and the rooms are huge, clean and have everything you need."

About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service -...

"Excelente hotel.

"I stayed at the hotel. A beautiful large room better than expected. The hotel also features a bar/club so be prepared for noise if you want to get your head down before 11pm. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. There was no breakfast buffet which would have been a bonus and quite frankly, is not difficult to arrange. The breakfast was poorly cooked with no finesse - broken egg yolks, food swimming in lots of grease and the water from the poached eggs soaking the toast - oh dear! Evening meal...

"Decent cleanliness. Serene location. Very cozy. No mobile network or internet connection but that is mentioned in the ad. Location and view are heavenly."
