James looked after my wife and I superbly he was more than kind and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with a great menu, the dining room is very modern and set up well on the ground floor. "We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"

"EL HOTEL EN SI ESTA BIEN PERO NOSOTROS ERAMOS 3 PERSONAS Y LA HABITACION QUE NOS DIERON PARA LOS 10 DIAS QUE ESTUVIMOS ERA MUY INCOMODA PORQUE ERA MUY MUY PEQUEÑA. LAS CAMAS ERAN MUY INCOMODAS Y PASAMOS MUCHO CALOR TODAS LAS NOCHES, ADEMAS LAS HACIAN FATAL. LO DJIMOS EN RECEPCION EL PRIMER DIA NADA MAS VER LA HABITACION Y NO NOS DIERON NINGUNA SOLUCION. CENAMOS EL DIA DE NOCHEBUENA Y NOS SALIO CARISIMO Y NO CENAMOS CASI NADA. AUNQUE EL HOTEL ESTA MUY BIEN SITUADO, NO VOLVEREMOS."

"Just a shame they didn’t offer cereals or yoghurts etc at breakfast for those who don’t like a cooked breakfast. I just ended up with toast which seemed a bit poor for the price of the room. "
