"We really enjoyed our relaxing family get together over the long Labor Day weekend! The outdoor space is so great to hang out, have a meal, play some games and just enjoy being together. The water was really low being the dog fays of summer but we managed to get our kayaks out while also using the canoe and kayak they have for guests.the wildlife was an added bonus. "This place was beautiful! The interior was very clean and lovely. It had everything we could possibly need. The lake is beautiful with plenty of wildlife to observe as well as great fishing. There was ample space for the whole family, plus John and Wendy were excellent hosts. "

"Check in was a breeze! The property was exactly as described. Dock was big enough for a pontoon and 2 fishing boats. Inside had plenty of space for our party of 16. Outside deck had seating for 10 which was fine because we brought lawn chairs, too. We would definitely stay here again."

"We chose this house for our family vacation because there were 16 of us and the house had 7 bedrooms and 4 baths. The bedrooms were a bit small and Spartan, but they worked for our family. I was a little leery about being within a block of downtown Walker, but that turned out to be a real plus, since people were able to walk to shop at fun stores, get Dairy Queen, and a grab some Starbucks coffee. "Superbly tended and stocked lake house. We were 5 siblings plus their families (& Grandma) reunited for a fabulous weekend. Rented a pontoon from Hiawatha Beach Rentals. Brought our food from Costco & cooked in. Lots of games & activities. We brought cornhole & fishing poles."
