"In one word: amazing!. We booked two nights at Ozen Resort in October. I was a bit anxious when driving there because the accommodation is fairly new and there were limited info online and was not really sure what to expect. I could not have been more positively surprised. The resort is in an incredible location 20 mins from Paro (great paved road to get there), with sweeping views of the mountains and super quiet. "Most staff are teenager and young adult sillyhearts. They have no initiative. This property does not provide tour guides nor get you connected with one. Constant bathroom leaks and backfiring showerhead during my stay. Water flying all over the bathroom at any time! The take hours to reply by Whatsapp or room phone. You will not get your food for at least an hour. Literally caught staff hanging up the staff phone and dancing for social media. There's nothing around this property. Would be better...

"We had a very pleasant stay at Green Valley Boutique. The hotel is situated in a very central place in Paro, only a few minutes walk to a lot of restaurants and less than 10min taxi drive to the airport. It’s on a back street 1 block away from the main road, so it’s very convenient but still very quiet. The staffs were friendly and the breakfast was the best we had throughout our trip in Bhutan. "We spent two sleepless nights because of the terrible noise. First night they had a big group of guests that arrived at 10.00 pm and they were screaming around until midnight. The next night the same big group left at 4.00 am and they were running and screaming around the camp for more than one hour. We asked for silence but nobody cared about! When finally the rude guests left the staff started to clean the tends close to ours so we were woken up again! It was a real nightmare! "

"Everything in the hotel was excellent. Got personalised hospitality experience from the owner of the property. Every need was taken care of and flexibility in timings for meals was greatly appreciated. No shortcomings in services at all. Never felt we were staying in a commercial hotel, felt as if we were staying at our own home. Will definitely stay here whenever we visit again and strongly recommend to all friends."

"This hotel is located in a very peaceful location, away from the downtown shops and market. The taktsang monastery is visible from the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed my stay here."

"Pros - The rooms were extremely spacious and large. The view around the hotel was amazing with the river just along the property. The bathrooms were extraordinarily huge. Cons - the bathroom floors were marbel which during the period of december were almost unbearable to walk on barefoot. Otherwise highly recommend. "

"The room was very clean, the bedding was fantastic, and the views from my room were spectacular. The restaurant food was average and didn't have several of the menu selections I wanted. Service at check-in was quite slow, with nobody around for the first 30 minutes after my arrival when I found myself all alone. "It’s ok for the price, but I don’t think I would stay there again. Breakfast is fine. Room had two broken plugs, didn’t solve the issue even though we had the only room occupied in the whole hotel. One day they didn’t make the room, no explanation given. I needed a taxi and the manager offered us a ride in his private car for double price. Crazy. Location is superb. "
