"This place is perfect for any folks wanting to get a relaxing stay but still have a closeness to the city. I was close to enough to visit the Space Center, Monte Sano(great place to hike and play disc golf), check out the comic book stores, and have a variety of restaurants. Next visit, I will eat at some of the more local establishments near Gurley. "

It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! "The pictures are amazing but WOW the experience! We were visiting for the 4th of July and we couldn't wait to get back to relax. We slept so good on the extra plush mattress. The place was fantastic, clean, and comfortable. Any messages to the host were answered in a timely manner. The decor was the best, down to every detail. Nicer than some 5 star hotels that I've stayed in. They don't compare in my opinion. This will be my go to from now on when i stay in the area. I highly recommend staying...

"Absolutely loved Camp Runamuck for celebrating my mom's retirement and 60th birthday! There is more than enough space for 3 families to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in patio and boat dock. We brought a boat with us, and there are 2 TVA boat docks nearby and plenty of room to tie it the house. Janet left a thoughtful note and some cookies for us upon arrival. Cozy spot if you need a family weekend at the lake! "

"This was a great home base for our girls’ weekend. The house is as gorgeous as the photos suggest, with a large kitchen, cozy living spaces, and comfy beds. We hit Unclaimed Baggage, lunch and shopping in the cute downtown, and then explored Cathedral Caverns. Looks like lots of good hiking in the area but the weather did not cooperate. Victoria was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our questions."
