Family fishing trip

Great Family Get Away

This home meets all of our needs! Quiet, plenty of room, nice swimming spot, and great fishing! The home is stocked perfect for home away from home! Since the location is downtown Guntersville you have access to two very good grocery stores, good fast food within walking distance and two very good restaurants Wintzells Oyster House and Top of the River. The game room is awesome! Eric, the owner is the best! He tries to meet every need that arises and provide any help! We are repeat renters and will be back again!

Ok, but we will rent elsewhere next time.

The house is ok, needing paint and other upkeep attended to. It had a significant ant problem and the pots were not suitable for use due to peeling nonstick coating. The ice maker also did not work. The owner says he has addressed these issues since our stay, but they were issues for us nonetheless. We were surprised to have so much road noise; not knowing the area before we booked we didn’t know the road immediately next to the house is very busy and noisy. Overall it was a disappointing destination. :-(

Excellent spot for a fishing trip

We had six guys coming in from 3 different states for a fishing trip. Excellent spot for this! Year round deep water and the dock was just steps from the house. Nice central spot for us to watch football at night and hang around the fire pit. Had a great time with the guys and will be back next time we go to Guntersville.

Eric’s Lake House

Very clean and convenient location to Guntersville businesses and restaurants. Grandkids loved the game room and jumping off the boathouse platform. Really nice deep water around the property and no eel grass. Check in and check out was very easy. Eric is really responsive to messages.

Great Family Spot

Our family stayed over the July 4th holiday. House was as pictured and everything was as expected. As other reviews mentioned it is right off a main highway so sitting on the porch can be fairly loud but we did not notice the noise once inside.

Mini Spring Vacation

Our stay at Eric’s family lake house is wonderful! It is inviting for every one of any age! It’s roomy inside and outside. The home is very clean and quiet. It is located near beautiful downtown Guntersville for shopping and wonderful restaurants! The home is fun for swimming and fishing from the pier or putting in a boat just right across from the house. Eric is an excellent host and replies quickly to any questions or concerns, very personable! He has done a wonderful job with making sure the home is well stocked,great sleeping arrangements, tvs and game room! We look forward to another visit! The Reeves Family

The property was excellent, conveniently located on Lake Guntersville with quick access to two boat ramps. Communication with the property owner was awesome and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

Great place in deep water! Location is good for access to grocery & restaurants. Also walking distance to a marina where we rented a boat. Only negative is that it is right by a pretty trafficked highway so not a “cabin in the woods” feel. But if you want convenience and plan to spend the day fishing or out on the water, it’s perfect. Game room was great for our kids with plenty of space for multiple families. Eric was great to communicate with and always prompt to respond.

Wow! Just wow!! This home was amazing & super clean! Comfortable beds! The dock was perfect for our group to get out of the sun & rain to be able to fish! The host thought of everything! Location was perfect too! We had the best family trip & made lots of great memories!! Thank you so much for sharing your home!
