Wonderful vacation on the Gunnison River
Grandpa’s cabin exceeded our expectations. The patio was heaven. Early in the morning with coffee, breakfast and a beautiful view over the river? Life is good.

family birthday reunion
I am turning 70 this year and my son is celebrating his 6-year anniversary. We decided to make the mountains and Colorado our destination for celebrating and it worked out great as we already have one son living in Crested Butte. We had a great week together and loads of outdoor activities. i recommend these locations for family, this property fit all 9 of us comfortably. Very scenic on the river, close to town and restaurants, I would do it again.

Unbelievable View
We absolutely loved sitting by the river each night. The cabin has 4 nice lounge chairs by the river, a firepit and also 2 sets of outdoor chairs and tables. We grilled every night and one night walked next door to Garlic Mike's (make a reservation.) The upstairs loft is a bit difficult to get to with a straight up ladder, so don't plan on using it for kids or elderly adults. It was ok for 2 younger adults. Cabin is nicely equipped with cooking pans and utensils and lots of seating inside too. Bathrooms were clean and there are 3 of them. Being right on the river was amazing, we will definitely be back!

Weekend Softball tourneyment
Great place, plenty of room for family. Close to town, bar & grill next door. But best of all was walking out the back door to see the beautiful river flowing with deer walking around early in the morning.

Great place
The property owner was very responsive. The location was beautiful on the river on the outskirts of town and the cabin was very clean. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Fabulous
This is a very quaint cabin and its location on the river is spectacular. We were there for hunting season, and it was really great to drink our morning coffee by the river. We also took advantage of the fire pit as well. Overall a great experience.

Love the river by the house. Perhaps put an address out by road so a person can find it easier. Other than that we really enjoyed it!

Great place - definitely staying there again!
We love this house on the river! We stayed for 1 week while attending the 4th of a July balloon rally. The house was perfect for our family. One of the bunk beds had dirty sheets, but we were able to change those out with extra linen in the house- the property manager was very responsive. Only other thing we would’ve liked to see was to have the yard mowed down. We are planning on booking again next year!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We loved the location on the river. We had bonfires every night and two of the three nights we were there walked next door to Garlic Mikes where we enjoyed great dinners. Jenny, the manager, was super great. She was quick to answer our phone calls and very helpful. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Lovely property close to Gunnison River
Excellent accomodations. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Access to the highway and ATA bus system.

Perfect long weekend get a away
This was a perfect place for us. The river and fire pit made for some memorable evenings. The inside of the cabin was perfect for our group. Great space for 7. The bus out front made skiing easy. Close to town yet far enough to be private. We would definitely rent this again.

Perfect weekend in the mountains
This was a great place to stay to be able to access both CB and Gunnison. A fire by the river, peaceful views, and a cozy cabin made it a great trip.

Beautiful setting beside the river
Cabin and setting is beautiful. Cabin had everything you need for a getaway. Parking area sufficient for trailers as advertised. Cabin is well kept and very clean. The fire ring and chairs beside the river is what sets this place apart. Be aware most of the sleeping areas are common areas so any group will need to be courteous to lights out time. Overall would highly recommend this cabin and have already booked for future getaway.

Relaxing spot on river. No real fishing access but a good spot with lots of access to Gunnison and Taylor close by.
