The positive notes about his property is that it was clean and it is less expensive than staying in the Blue Mountains. However, the pool was closed when we were there (as it was green), and the rooms needed a facelift. I would give this a 2 out of 5.

There was no cutlery or crockery so to make toast or heat food was impossible. Toilet was too close to the vanity so your legs hit the vanity.

The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. Even when we needed an extra room this wasn't an issue. Second time here definitely won't be the last.

The room was terrific. The bathroom was clean but one could not sit on the toilet in a normal way. The new toilet was not fitted correctly ( my husband is a plumber) so space was extremely limited in what should have been a very nice bathroom.

Travelling Central West Cycling Trail with mates
Nicely presented motel in the very heart of the town, extremely cooperative and friendly staff allowing us to leave the cars on premises over weekend after the departure on Friday morning. Will come again thanks

We arrived late and left early so no facilities were used, the room was a good size and clean. Not alot of room in the bathroom. Staff were friendly.

Great big shower with wonderful shower head. Shampoo/Cond/bath gel & hand wash/lotion/shave cream all on wall in bathroom. Plenty of room. Spotlessly clean. Had electric blankets, air cond and air freshener. Had fresh milk for tea/coffee. Would recommend as great spot to stop over.

traffic noise in front and behind, strong smell of mold, the bed was hard, the TV did not have blue tooth, that doesn't matter too much . Cracks in the wall around the air conditioning. No vents in the bathroom hence moist air creates mold

This is a great place for an overnight stay or a couple of nights. Bathroom clean modern and spacious. Room and bed clean comfortable and roomy. Microwave, fridge and toaster in room. no freezer space in fridge though. Friendly staff. Quite despite being near the highways to Mudgee, Gunnedah etc.

This motel was clean, nice atmosphere although on the older style it suited us. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. I highly recommend the Gulgong Motel.

My bathroom was new and very clean. Bedding was nice and fresh. The carpet was a bit tired it needed cleaning. The motel grounds had gravel down and it was very thick outside my room so when I rode in on my motorcycle my wheel got embedded in the gravel. My bike got stuck so gravel is not good for my motorcycle. It made me stressed and I had to get two men to help me get my bike out of the gravel.
