everything was perfect for us. We absolutely loved our stay. Our golden doodle Baxter enjoyed the fenced yard, & we enjoyed the neighborhood with friendly people, great walk to beach & Casino. We had a great stay at the Flamingo Cottage. Debra, the host, was very friendly, easy to contact and considerate of our needs. We loved the location of the cottage with quick access to the beach and Gulfport, as well as other nearby coastal towns. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a great place to stay while on vacation.

The house is old, but has been renovated nicely. It was stocked with more than adequate necessities like soap, paper products, coffee and such. Nice coffee maker, new appliances. Cold A/C. There is 2 fenced in areas for the dog(s). Nice shaded area in the backyard with seating. We enjoyed watching the freight and passenger trains roll by. We had a couple of minor issues, but the owner cheerfully and quickly resolved. Would happily stay again!

Cozy cottage

Didn't have any problems whatsoever. I saw where the train was, but we live close to the tracks ourselves and it was fine for us. It's very clean and the layout was perfect for us. Brought back some memories, I grew up in an old house with the doorknobs, the floors and the waynescoating. We will be back.

Love this cottage!

Love this cottage! It’s exactly as described! Very clean and in a safe location! It is by a train but we actually loved it! Our kids got excited everytime they heard the train coming and loved counting how many cars were on the train! The house is well stocked for cooking , laundry etc and it just feels like a home! The beds were very comfortable too! Property manager was great to communicate with! Would definitely stay here again !

Great summer getaway

Debra made our stay easy and enjoyable. She was great at communicating and stocked the rental with lots of great local info and everything we could have needed during our stay. Being by the beach, it was great having the washer and dryer. Salute’s Italian is a must, we went 4 times during our stay. We appreciated her stocking beach supplies so we didn’t have to fit beach chairs into our road trip packing. Everything we needed was within a 5-10 min drive. Thanks again Debra!

The house was better than expected from the pictures. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great the air conditioning really cooled the house down as it was so hot outside. Debra was great responding to my questions. I would definitely stay there again!

super sweet

The house was just as described, 3 blocks from the beach and perfect weather. We also took our pooch and was so happy not to have to put him on a leash due to the fenced in yard front and back. The train was a bit much in the beginning but after a couple of day we never noticed it. Debra was great as well, met us as we were unloading and gave us a fresh picked magnolia that smelled amazingly. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to visit Ship island, aquarium, Biloxi and Long Beach. We do not gamble so we kept to the beach and scenery. Which we enjoyed very much. Cottage was just what we needed!

Adorable place to stay!

The Flamingo House had everything we needed and more! We loved the kitchen as it had everything we needed to cook and easily clean up! The games were an added bonus when it rained to keep the kids entertained! The couch slept our 2 younger children perfectly and was actually very comfortable! The train is close (didn't bother us), but ear plugs were in the night stands if needed! The host, Mrs. Debra was fabulous is responding to everything we needed and checking in on us! We will definitely stay at her properties again!

Perfect beach stay!

I travel alone with my dog, and I couldn’t have found a better place on the beach to stay! The condo was very nicely decorated and updated; clean; bright and airy; and had everything that I needed for my 2 week stay. Not to mention that my dog was welcome! The owner was attentive and truly seemed to care that I was comfortable. Along with being a great place to call home for my time away, the location was ideal. I could sit on the deck and watch the ocean - both sunrise and night moon were spectacular (when the fog let us). There were enough restaurants, bars, patios and plenty of beach walking all right there. I never had to get in my car unless I wanted to! I also enjoyed the music right next door off the patio. It was never too loud or too late. (And if it would have been, all you had to do was go in and shut the deck doors and it was plenty quiet!) I highly recommend this Tiki Condo…and definitely will go back if I return to SPI!!! ❤️

Nice place and great host

Stayed for a week and had an awesome time. Place was clean and well supplied with all the extras you need. Train takes a minute to get used to, but it's not a big deal. Short walk or drive to the beach and lots of good eats around. Deb was awesome and very hospitable. Would go back anytime.
