Overall great place to stay

Overall great place to stay for the budget price. Smaller rental space but great for 2 people for the week. The place is nicely decorated but does have a few too many pillows and knick nacks all around considering the small amount of storage space. I did play a game of tetris with the pillows so we could sit on the couch. Thats my only real complaint. Otherwise we did have plenty of space to put our clothes away for the week and still feel comfortable. The appliances work great! We cooked almost all of our meals through the week there and had no issues. The kitchen is well stocked with needed tools for easy cooking. The condo property is very nice and well maintained. Pools are clean and nice for all ages. The beach was beautiful each day we went out there and was pretty clean. We did see dolphins 3 or 4 times around sunset which was a nice surprise. The waves were great for boogie boards and just floating along. We did not use any of the laundry facilities but did find them easily and the areas looked nice enough. Close enough to gulf shores to go eat if wanted other than the few small places to eat on the Fort Morgan strip. We had a great time taking the ferry across to Dauphin Island and driving up to see the U.S.S. Alabama Jackie was easy to get ahold of and very responsive to any questions I had. As the title suggest. Great place to stay overall and would recommend for a place for 2.

Exactly what we needed!

We walked to beach daily which is very convenient! Beach was amazing and not crowded. The studio is modern and met all of our needs! When we arrived early, we were able to check in a little early which after a 10hr drive, it was greatly appreciated!! Highly recommend!

Simple and easy

Great studio with many extras to help make a nice vacation. With three people, it could get tight, but we really were there to eat and sleep- so perfect for our needs. Clean, fresh and as described, so no surprises. Yes- the whatnots (pillows/decor) in the place were a bit much, but we set them aside and did just fine- it did add to the wimsy of the place. Property management was quick to answer my questions and the amenities were plentiful and beach was awesome. Love the area. . .

Great Condo! Resort needs improvements.

The condo was great for my husband and I. (5 stars for the condo). As for the resort, 2 stars. The issues were resort trash, pools and the laundry room. The trash cans were overflowing and only picked up once daily. The grounds keepers didn't replace the trash bags instead they would pour the trash into a larger trash bag. The pools were not kept clean, the pools were not cleaned daily. A guest cleaned the bugs out of one of the pools so she could swim with her kids. One of the indoor pools was cloudy and smelled strongly of pool chemicals. In the laundry room- payment shows cards or quarters. The card payment didn't work (security was notified and the response was "huh, well it should be working"). There is no where to get quarters on the resort so we had to drive to the store and get quarters. The resort needs to put a change machine in the laundry rooms so guests can get quarters onsite. The laundry room in building 6 is not air conditioned (making it horribly hot) and the light constantly goes off. The resort needs to make improvements for these issues.

Weekend Getaway

My daughter and I went to Fort Morgan for a weekend trip. I have a sister that lives down there, so we got to see her. Our room was nice. We will stay there again. I hope next summer.

Anniversary Trip

We had an excellent stay from 6-13-23 to 6-16-23. It was found exactly like it’s listed. The one thing I would recommend is bringing your fan for the bed area if you sleep with one. There are no fans in the room. None are listed as being included and we failed to bring ours. That was our error not the facility. We did not use any of the amenities other than our room and the beach.

great condo

This was a very nice and clean property to stay at. It was as described. The mattresses are definitely aging as others have mentioned. The grounds and pools etc are very well cared for and the beach was a short walk down a designated pathway. We were very happy with the Plantation, security, parking etc and will definitely stay here again. Priced appropriately.

The location was quite in Jan and Feb, a bit busier in Mar. The number of knic knacs and pillows took up a lot of the limited space in the studio unit. Could do with less.

Nice place just not practical for a party of 4

I rented this for myself and a friend. The beds were uncomfortable and I told my friend to fold the sofa bed back up and sleep on the cushions she had a restless night the 1st night. The available bed & sofa bed could only accomodate 4 if no one moved in the bed(s) and if they were short people. The location was beautiful.. The host was available when needed (I liked that). The dishes were still wet in the cabinets. The oven door would not open so we couldn't use the oven. Summarizing: Not likely to use this property again.

Perfect for 2

Adorable studio just perfect for 2 although 4 could stay there comfortably. The beds were comfortable… everything as described. Had a question for the owner and she responded quickly. I hope to stay here again soon!

Perfect for a couple

A little small for 2 adults who don’t want to share a bed. A lot of notes that I find disconcerting, such as: “Don’t move this dresser, the legs will fall off” and “remove bedspread and blankets—we don’t wash them”. Also, says sleeps 6, but has a tiny 4 cup coffee pot. This was my 4th condo at the plantation and it was adequate, but my least favorite

Nice getaway fora couple or small family!

This condo was perfect for my family. The pool being right out our back door was PERFECT for us. The condo was cute, clean, and convenient. The only complaint is that when you had the air on, no matter what it was set on it ran non stop and froze you, or you could just shut it off. But I prefer being cold, so to us it wasn’t really an issue. We had an overall amazing experience and would definitely stay again.

Review of Rental Unit

We had a great stay. This was the first year we have stayed in a smaller unit and absolutely loved the simplicity. The internet service was slow and watching television and doing work related tasked were challenging. Otherwise the facility met our expectations.

Older building. Needs updating. Really needs a good deep cleaning. Draperies do not provide room darkening so your up with the Sun. Unfortunately I would not stay again.
