Great House

This listing was pretty much as described. The kitchen was very well stocked for any type of meals you would want to cook. The short walk to the beach was easy. 100% recommend and plan to stay here again.

Clean and Easy walk to the beach

This home was a good size for our two families of four which consisted of 4 adults, two kids age 12 and two kids age 9. The beach was an easy walk down a gravel road. The home was very clean. We liked that the home was not in a very populated area therefore the beach was not busy. We visited Fort Morgan which was a great place to learn about history and see the Bay Area beach. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Beach House

This was a great property to stay at, we really enjoyed our trip. The bunk room was a neat addition. I was worried that it would be warm, but it was nice and cool for the kiddos.

Family Vacay

The property was very comfortable and everyone had a place to sleep since it has 3 beds plus a bunk room. This was a first getting my family all together under one roof and it was a success. We enjoyed our stay.

Another Great Stay

Second time staying at this condo. It's always very clean and well-kept, with a nice layout. New furniture and comfortable beds! It is a short walk to the beach, but there is a beach cart provided there that makes hauling your stuff much easier. We love that it is pet friendly, and the property manager, Martha is always responsive.

Family vacation with teens to toddlers

We rented the North duplex with family renting the South duplex. I would say the South duplex is nicer with a better view and better grill. The furniture was also more suited for adults (glass table)on the South side. We enjoyed the stay and the convenience of being together but separate. The beach wagon was more trouble than it’s worth. I would bring your own beach chairs as our side didn’t have any. The only negative was the large mice (I would call them rats) which cut our outdoor family dinner short. There was also a snake on the steps one morning (I’m sure from the mice) so we had to be careful with our dog. Overall we enjoyed our stay and how quiet the beach was.

Awesome/Relaxing

House was beautiful, very clean, and kitchen well stocked with dishes , pot and cooking utensils. The beach was a short walk and was not crowed. If you are looking for peaceful and relaxing environment this place is perfect for you.

Relaxing Weekend

We came down for the weekend to spend some time relaxing. My husband has been really sick for months and ended up in the hospital on our anniversary in February, so we wanted a quick trip away to decompress and relax. The house location was perfect. We love the seclusion of the beaches at Fort Morgan. We loved the house. It had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic property with no crowds in Ft Morgan.

We loved staying at this property, the location is really nice and quiet. It’s a perfect place to walk to the beach with kids and dogs to get away from the crowds. We’ll stocked with plenty of room for everyone with comfortable beds and furniture.

First time to the Alabama coast

The property was in the middle of being sold when we stayed (Feb ‘22). The prospective buyers (via listing agent) asked for access to the property on a couple of occasions during our stay and a home inspection was done as well. Not necessarily inconvenient but a bit of a distraction. Access to the beach was about what we expected based on the property description online. The beach itself was wonderful and not crowded at all during our stay (one month). A few updates to interior of the house would be nice (i.e. vinyl plank flooring in bedrooms instead of carpet). Overall, we loved our time in Fort Morgan and are set to return next year.

Enjoyed our stay

It was Ok We thought we were getting a better view of the gulf than we did. If the bushes were trimmed that grew up over the deck and into the kitchen window the view may have been better. Property was very clean inside but a lot of molds on outside of building.

Pros and Cons

Overall our stay was good, however, it was not flawless. We loved the fact that it was pet friendly as were the beaches nearby. We traveled with children who are 8 and 5 and had planned on them staying in the 'bunk room'. We didn't realized that you have to go outside to access the room so obviously the kids were scared to sleep out there by themselves. We made do by using the bedding off of the bunk beds and made pallets in the floor of the living room. If you need wi-fi, then you have to stand on the porch as close as you can to the duplex next door to get signal as this house did not have working internet/wi-fi. The television is also controlled by the duplex next door so if the renters next door turn off the main receiver, then you will not have television. This was inconvenient and the teenagers didn't like it one bit, but we made do. The house was clean and the water was hot and had good water pressure. We could not see the beach from the house but the walk down the road to the beach is not bad. We were provided with 1 roll of TP per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels so you might pick up some extra on the way. It goes quick with 8 people staying! We enjoyed the stay as we really only would have liked to have had the tv and wifi at night. Just for reference, the house is about 23 miles from the main intersection in Gulf Shores so it is quite a drive if you're planning on spending a good bit of time there.

Great place

This place is hard to find but great once you do. The property manager is excellent. The AC went out the first night we were there and she had someone out to fix it the same day. Short walk to the beach which wasn’t over crowded even on Labor Day weekend.

Great place!

The only problem I had with this stay was that the internet was on the fritz. But I know that Martha was working on it and it wasn't her fault at all. The duplex was gorgeous, comfortable, and in a perfect location! Would definitely come back!
