The Beach Club Resort & Spa was nice, but we had problems with Vacasa & the actual condo. Had not received our access code so had to request it. Upon arrival, the parking attendant didn't have our information. Were given two numbers to call, & no one answered. Finally after multiple texts, Vacasa sent our information to the resort. Once inside we discovered a sign on the dishwasher that read, "Do Not Operate Appliance Under Repair". Reported to Vacasa, & no one ever came to fix it...so spent the week hand washing dishes. Other problems included: dimly lit condo, sparsely stocked kitchen - no Keurig, no kitchen scissors, no drying rack for hand washed dishes, etc. Needed to cook meat for spaghetti, tacos... but there was only a small bent skillet so had to go purchase one. Beds were uncomfortable with very thin bedspreads (had to purchase kids a blanket). The tv in den didn't work (reported to Vacasa - no one came to fix it). Washing machine was very loud, & door to laundry room had been removed. Oven took forever to cook the simplest things like a frozen pizza. Balcony was dirty with limited visibility due to a wall versus railing with low patio furniture. The curtains in one bedroom were gaping, so you had to adjust them constantly.. so lights from outside hallway wouldn't shine in and a passerby couldn't see in the room. This condo is in a nice location with a good layout, but I think it needs a week or so off for a "tune up"...new dishwasher, repaired tv, etc.
