The views and beach access were spectacular! The house was perfect for our family of 12! It was as beautiful as the pictures in the listing. The owner was immediately responsive- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Check in had problems with no password to get in Had to call owner. inside was ok but needed one BR on the first floor for grandparents. Red covering on furniture in great room was not clean. Kitchen was small but fine. Outside pool was tiny. more of a play pool not for swimming. Overall ok and we liked being so close to the water.

Had a great stay. 9 adults and 7 kids. Beach is about 100 steps. Have added a picture of the pool. It is small but the kids had a blast. In the picture you’ll see 8, 10, and 12 year olds. Gives you a little insight on the pool. Everything you need to cook with is available. Host was always available. Would not hesitate to book again.

Great family vacation!

This location was perfect for our family of eight adults and three children (8 and under). We had a wonderful stay which included dolphin watching, building sand structures, crabbing at night and the grandchildren loved the little pool. The house was clean and welcoming. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay and the location and weather were great!! Recommendations….the kitchen was poorly equipped (no pot holders, the knives were dull), lack of comfortable outdoor furniture, weak WiFi reception, insufficient towels and wash cloths (found others on last day left in washer) hot water heater alarm kept going off during the night). Did contact owner and they responded quickly.

It’s a winner

Second time at this house and it’s a great find. Overall, the house is great. A lot of space for family dinners and movie nights, with plenty of beds/rooms for everyone. So close to the beach and nice secluded location.

Good location, but property has issues

This property has potential, but needs attention. The house was not clean, the AC upstairs stopped working, and there were visible issues with the house. The thermostats kept kicking back to high temps and we were hot all week. But!! Can’t beat the location, the beach is beautiful and not crowded in that area, the owner was easy to get in touch with and was responsive to the issues we had.

We enjoyed our stay ! The location and convenience to the beach was perfect ! Beds were super comfy but we did feel like the house could use a good deep clean . I realize it’s peak season and turn around time is short but baseboards and walls could use a good wipe down as well as cleaning under all furniture .

Fun Family Week

We had a fantastic stay at Salty Pelican. The location is wonderful. Close to Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks restaurants. We enjoyed being directly on the beach. The kids could go to and from the beach easily. The little pool ended up being a favorite for the kids. The kitchen is well stocked. We also enjoyed the family room being large enough for our family to relax and play games. We are looking forward to returning. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great family vacation!

Family vacation with 8 adults and 3 children ages 7 to 9. The house was perfect for us, just steps from a beautiful private beach area. The pool was small but the kids loved it. Had an issue with the washing machine caused by a previous guest. The host immediately let us know and even though it was Memorial Day weekend, was able to rectify the situation with no inconvenience to us whatsoever. Will definitely be returning!!

Loved our vacation!

We had the best time this last week at this house!! Perfect set up for a big group with ours ranging from 6 years old to 56 years old! House was exactly as listed and so beautiful! We did notice the pool wasn’t working correctly so I messaged the owner and she called me within minutes and had the pool guy there that same day to fix it! We will definitely be booking this house again in the future!

Great week at the beach!

The house was awesome! It had everything we needed plus so much more. The beach was at our doorstep. Great living area big enough for our 10 adults and 6 children. The walk-in showers were nice. Plenty of beach chairs and accessories. Great location. Because there were no closets in the bedrooms, it would have been nice to have a few hooks for hanging clothes. Well stocked kitchen, but we missed the can opener, measuring cups, etc. in the island drawer until late in the week because it didn’t have a handle. It didn’t look like a drawer. All in all, a great week!

Fall Break Family Trip

We had the most amazing vacation together as a family! We made wonderful memories together and enjoyed every minute. The house was so nice and clean. We loved the space and the pool! We have already been talking of our next trip back!
