This house was perfect for our last-minute booking when our Hawaii trip got canceled. the proximity to the pools and beach were perfect. The beach chairs and wagon were so nice to have available. I would recommend bringing your own bath towels as the ones provided are not great and there are no beach towels provided, which isn’t a big deal if you have room to pack them. The ping pong table in the pictures is one of the reasons we picked this house but unfortunately it was not actually there. Not a deal breaker, but would recommend updating the p photos.

Loved this house!! We've stayed in this same area before and we love Morgantown so much!! The house was spacious, I love that they had board games for the kids, and toys and chairs for us to bring to the beach!! The hosts were amazing and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future!! Thanks so much for giving us your home away from home to call ours for the week!!

House overall was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our time in the pet friendly neighborhood of Morgantown. Listed a 3 for cleanliness because it could use some TLC around the baseboards and decor. There were some places on the walls that had marks and the flooring needed a few spots repaired. One light bulb was going out in the master bathroom. Linens were fresh and they left a starter kit for cleaning purposes. The walk to the beach was listed at 3 minutes, and it was more like 10 minutes. Just giving an honest review. No complaints here! We would book again!

It was a be perfect spot. Home was located on a cul de sac so little traffic. The whole neighborhood was quiet and enjoyable. Short walk to beach. Everyone had a fabulous time. The owners were very responsive and quick to fix a faucet that hot water was no longer coming from. It was great

Big Home needs cleaning badly and work

Great house for big families. Ice Maker was broken with an huge hole in it, Property manager immediately brought us a bag of ice which was very nice. Lots of room. On the Cleaning the floors really need a deep clean there was sand all over the house on all levels. There are lots of stairs so make sure you can climb stairs before booking. Elderly parents can always sleep on the first level. Love the Arcade Game. We would stay here again. Property Manager also brought new beach chairs our 2nd day there. There is a pull cart if you need it too which is nice as well.We also loved the swings. You have to drive to the Beach Access and there are Alligators on Property so watch your fur babies closely.

Needs attention

Pictures online demonstrate a tidy property with a summary of items provided (grill, beach chairs, wagon, etc) for your stay but attention is needed as the online pictures do not accurately represent this property. 2 grills (both are rusted/broken and unusable), beach equipment was rusted and not usable. The downstairs sitting area was dirty with trash, cigarette butts, various screws,nails scattered throughout(in sand area and carport) and overgrowth of foliage and sticker vines everywhere. Old used charcoal piles from previous renters. Basically the downstairs sitting area was simply too dirty with broken chairs and was unusable. The inside property was okay but the floors were very dirty (not sand/dirt) with grime and need a thorough mopping. There were spider webs on ceilings that need removing. Mold on ceiling of upstairs master bathroom (seems vent fan is too small for the area/ not cleaned in sometime). The beds were not comfortable at all and bedding was old and could use updating. The property was in decent proximity to pool and beach.

Fun, relaxing family getaway!

We had a lovely week in Fort Morgan. The house was very spacious for our family of seven. The neighborhood was very nice and it was about a five minute walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. Many evenings, we were the only people on the beach. The kitchen was very well-equipped and organized. We enjoyed family time around the firepit at night. Our host was quick to address any issues we had.

Enjoyable Mini-Vacation / Great Location

We stayed five nights. Whatever you might want to carry to the beach, including the wagon to carry it in was available. This location is quiet, area well managed where the house is located. Two pools to utilize as well. Communication with the host was great, including local recommendations for grocery stores and places to eat. There were a few maintenance things on the inside that we felt required attention. He thanked us and told us that guests sharing these kinds of things made it possible for attention to be given to them to make the experience the best it could be for guests. He told us the challenges we noted would be addressed. On balance, none of them kept us from enjoying our stay. Had it been the case that it impacted the quality of our stay, we would not have given a Five Star rating. Kitchen had just about anything you might need. All appliances worked properly. Island could seat four or five people, if needed. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any property we have visited. The beach was great. You are only a very short distance away, easy to get there. We took the dogs to the beach for short periods, which was fun. Golf cart rental is available, but we did not think it was necessary, as the beach was not far at all. Overall, we had a great mini-vacation with our daughter and granddaughters. Unfortunately, due to the massive issues in WNC, my SIL who works in Law Enforcement was not able to make the trip with us, as planned.

Family Vacation 08/2024

We absolutely loved our stay and the Host was very responsive. This was out 1st time to stay in Fort Morgan and I will bet we will return again. The home was well equipped for all our beach needs including beach towels, chairs, sand toys and a cart to pull everything in ! My girls each had their own rooms/showers upstairs and my husband and I stayed downstairs. I would have preferred the a king bed downstairs but I chose the Queen bedroom over going up and down more stairs *I think I am aging lol* ! Overall this was a wonderful experience and a place to make memories !

The best stay I’ve ever had! Unbelievable location and the most beautiful beach home!

I cannot express my gratitude for this beautiful beach home. It is well kept, tall ceilings and all the big beautiful room, and best bathrooms.. so many of them! The host James was excellent and also owner, Cody/Madison. These are the kindest people ever. I brought my little shih tzu Madison, for her last vacation due to lymphoma. She is the love of my life! Our stay was so comfortable and a short walk to the beautiful beach. Everything was provided to get started. The location was quiet and peaceful. 2 different pools available for use, tennis court and hot tub near bigger pool. I wish I could rate this house more than allowed. I will be booking this big, beautiful beach home again. Everything was updated and comfortable. Definitely give this big beautiful home your attention. Again, I will be back!!!! One more note, the owner provided high quality dog bones for my little girl. Such a kind caring gesture. That is what you get from the owners of this property. Above and beyond service!
