Great house and location!! He had a great time and had plenty of room for 12 adults and a baby! Pool was an excellent bonus, just wish there were more lounge chairs by the pool. Wonderfully located right across the street from the beach and right at the convenient crosswalk. Great time. We hope to be back very soon!! Thanks for sharing your house

Family Vacation

Perfect house for a family of 14 with 6 small children. Proximity of ocean was great and it was awesome to have a pool right there. Enjoyed it so much we are coming back next year.

It was a wonderful family vacation!

There is not much to say at all in the negative but here are some positives that my family expressed to me over the course of the week: 1)location was great. Easy access to the beach. 2)The home is huge and easily accommodated our family of 8. 3)The overall condition of the home was very good. 4)We enjoyed having all the kitchen necessities including two refrigerators was great. 5)we loved the private pool. 6)Having enough bathrooms for everyone was terrific. 7)Good storage 8)We liked to at all the bedrooms each had access to the balcony. 9)We loved the each of the larger bedrooms had king beds. 10)The balcony space above the pool is fantastic. 11)The homes lighting is natural and bright. 12)Having a shower and hose under the home is very useful. 13)Plenty of parking for so many cars with room to spare. 14)Having a partial view of the gulf was great. 15)The AC is great 16)The variety of outdoor seating is amazing.

Great for our family get-away

This property is in a great location. Not too far from restaurants/stores but not right on top of them. And it’s right across from the beach access so it really is just as good as beach front for less $$$. The pool is worth its weight in gold. While we were there there was a red flag one day and purple flags all week so having a pool as backup when the water was too rough or there were too many jellies was amazing. Important to note however; I wouldn’t count on the pull-out sofa as one of your beds because that sofa is old and squeaky (it was really the only thing that needed replaced) and just wasn’t comfortable enough for any of my kids to sleep on for a week so we shuffled around and made it work. Overall I would stay here again because this house was perfect for our family!

Family vacation

95% positive, one big negative. The house was great, the private pool was great, and the entrance to the public beach was right across the street. A market was located a block or so away, and grocery and drug stores were just a couple of miles away on 59 or a little farther in Orange Beach. Parking can be an issue. Sand and gravel run from the pool down into the street making it unclear where the property ends and the public line begins and cars pull in up to the pool wall almost every day leaving their cars there for hours. One of our cars was blocked in under the house for hours, and when I called bama beach houses for help, they said there was nothing they could do. Something as simple as parking curbs, landscape fencing, and proper signage would go a long way toward fixing this problem. I loved the house, hated the parking issue.

About our stay.

Everything was good until we had a cockroach come out of the love seat. You could use some lights on the fans above the dining room tables. The toilet upstairs toward the gulf would not always shut off. We loved the place.

GREAT VACAY RENTAL

We had the best time on our family vacation. This house was the perfect fit for the 20 of us. It was the perfect location from the beach and even from other activities in Gulf Shores. The only downside of this house was it had lots of ants. I don't know if this is a normal thing for the specific area or if the property isn't like deep cleaned regularly. They mostly lived around the rugs and on the first level. We made sure to have all the food cleaned up to limit the number of ants coming out.

Excellent location!

We had an amazing time at Rick's home. The house was perfecr foe our family and lots of extra beds. The pool was amazing and we spent everyday there after the beach. Access to the beach was right across the street and took only a minute to get to the white sands. My only feedback was having more towels a available. But we had a great time at the house and made lots of memories. We would definitely return!

Family Trip

This house was fantastic! We had 17 people staying ranging from 5 years old to 68. We all had plenty of space and the house was very clean. We didn't cook much but from what I could tell there were plenty of utensils, pots and pans, plates, cups, etc. The distance to the ocean is very doable and the pool area is wonderful! We would love to stay in this house again in the future.

5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a giant living/gathering area (both inside and out), a short crosswalk to the beach and a private full-sized pool = a week full of giggles, laughter and family fun!

Family Trip

Family trip for my mother-in law’s birthday! We loved the place and location was great! The kids loved the pool. Right across the street from the beach and walkway! Would definitely rent this place again! Hope to go back soon!

wow, it was great...

All the family enjoyed it from 2 year old to 58 year old.. we had full house. Plenty of room, well kept, great access to beach. Pool was great, two fridges was great. Plenty of parking space. Over all a 10.... We plan to go again... Could use a safety gate for stairs leading to pool. One gate on side balcony to divide the two houses...
