Pros:
-beautifully decorated
-close proximity to beach
-spices available in the kitchen
-starter supplies available upon arrival
Cons:
-cleaning service was horrible. Sandy floors upon arrival, dirty sheets with mascara on pillow case, dust on master headboard, thick dust on vents, black mold on the bathroom air vents
-musty bunk room- 2 box fans were provided in the bunk room closet, clearly it's a known issue. The air quality was so bad in that room, my 9 year old had to sleep on the couch as it triggered his asthma.
-exterior door in bunk room- unsettling when you have small children staying in a room with an exterior door
-bunk room door is out of square. You can close it, but opening it is difficult as the top corner gets stuck. You have to apply pressure to the top of the door face to open it, so my 7 year old and 2 year old could not open the door without an adult. Terrible for littles trying to use the restroom in the middle of the night.
-over sized furniture in master. The bed has been upgraded from the pictures to a larger framed queen bed. The bedside table obstructs the entrance to the restroom. An adult cannot physically walk straight in the restroom and has to turn sideways to enter the restroom.
Of note, we messaged the host upon arrival to notify them that the curtain rod was barely attached to the wall in the master when we arrived. I sent pictures. We didn't receive a response, but instead received a notice that they filed an insurance claim for $300
