Smith Family Vacation

The house is top notch, loved it!!!! I wouldn’t change anything. First time staying in a house with its own private pool and hot tub. We rented a golf cart and had a fun time driving around the neighborhood and to beach. Very quiet and relaxing home. We’ve been staying in Gulf Shores for 25 plus years and never stayed in the Fort Morgan area. I loved it but my husband missed staying in an area where he could go out on the lagoon at night and fish. Host was very helpful and checked on us several times by text during our stay. I would give an overall rating 1-10 an 11! Awesome, would love to return eventually to the home. We are actually coming back next week but unfortunately we’re staying somewhere else.

We love the home because of the proximity of the beach and a wonderful pool! The home is immaculate and so roomy. My family of ten, 6 adults and 4 kids were comfortable in this spacious home away from home. Large screen TVs in all bedrooms and family rooms. Large farmhouse table was great for meals. Screened porches are fun. The host is so helpful with every detail.

Annual Family Vacation

Every year we visit Fort Morgan with friends but we each book our own houses. This house was the perfect location and proximity to the beach (2 blocks). It was well stocked, clean and exactly as described in the listing. It was very nice and convenient to shower off the sand from the beach and jump in the pool in the backyard. We enjoyed all the patio seating under the house to escape the sun. The screened in decks were great to enjoy your morning coffee and let little ones enjoy the morning views. Raye was very responsive and helpful throughout our booking.

Family Vacation

This house is well stocked, very clean & exactly as described. Short 2 block walk to the beach but in the heat, we ended up renting a golf cart, which was also a fun way to see the neighborhood. The pool, hot tub & fire pit were so nice. The screened in decks were great no matter the time of day. Our fur baby had fun too & was worn out every day. Raye is the most responsive host. We would book this home again for another vacation.

Perfect Getaway

Our week at this beautiful home was absolute bliss. The hosts were easy to reach, very helpful and friendly, provided clear and detailed information about the property, check-in, etc. The space and layout of the home was lovely and it was immaculate and very welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with everything labeled and easy to find. The linens and towels were fantastic. The attention to detail in this place is unmatched, and was deeply appreciated. We took breaks from the heat in the media room watching movies with shades down on very comfy couches. The beach is a quick walk, and the property is very dog-friendly. The private pool and hot tub were wonderful. Mornings on the screened porch overlooking the pool were relaxing, especially for the dog. We had a great break, enjoyed every moment, and would book this again in a heartbeat!

Perfection!!!

Perfect for our family beach trip. We love Fort Morgan and this house is perfect! We have 6 adults and 4 grandkids. We love, love, love the nice pool and proximity to the beach. It’s just a short hike but also rent a golf cart for fun. It’s always immaculate and we enjoyed all the nice recent updates. Every detail is just perfect! This was our second stay at this house. The host goes over and beyond to make our stay awesome. We are able to cook breakfast or lunch but soooo enjoy going out to eat at our favorite restaurants, like Sassy Bass (very close). We have been enjoying the neighborhood for 6 summers and you can’t beat the location. We do drive into Orange Beach to a few other restaurants. But staying there is just too crowded. Excellent house and hosts!

Ft.Morgan - Pelican Bluff July 2024

This place was great! Very clean and well maintained, great layout, beds were comfortable, great sectional seating in main living area, 2 screened porches, fabulous under house sitting area with nice breezes. There was also very nice hot tub in the under house area, along with the grills. The privately fenced pool was wonderful and was a great size. There were TVs in bedrooms and the 2 common spaces. The media room located upstairs had a 70” screen tv that was fabulous for family movie nights! The host was amazing to communicate with us and very quick in their responses. We rented a golf cart to head to the beach, although I walked back & forth several times. It was only 2 streets back so only a 5-8 minutes walk or a 3 minute golf cart drive! We enjoyed our trip very much and plan to return!

Peaceful and Spacious

We loved our stay during the week of the 4th. This was the perfect space for three couples (and 2 pups) to enjoy some rest and relaxation. The beach (a quick walk) was lovely but the house truly shined with the large pool and two separate porches for enjoying the sea breeze. The hosts were INCREDIBLE, super communicative and responsive, even though the house was so well thought out and stocked, we didn’t need anything else. We will be back!

Great place!

We went for a quick getaway with the family. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was so well thought out and provided for all the way to the labeling of cabinets and even provided seasonings for the food. The owners was so quick at providing information we would need and even helped us find numbers for rentals for seating at the beach( Raye actually called for us). I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back!

Amazing Friends Weekend

This was a wonderful getaway right next to the beach and so much fun for relaxing and having fun. Amazing porch/deck/pool ares, and nice beach anccess that was not crowded. Raye and Anthony are excellent hosts. Communication was great. We would absolutely like to stay again.

Better than the Ad

We have stayed in Fort Morgan for several years now, in this same neighborhood, on the same street. This was hands down our favorite experience we have had in Fort Morgan. The owner is super easy to communicate with and out to provide a great experience. The property is super clean and a very short walk, or golf cart ride to the beach. We will definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend to friends and family. The hottub, pool, grill, etc were all some of the cleanest of any property we have ever stayed on. This is also a pet friendly property, and you would never know it as the property was spotless when we arrived. They even have dog waste bags available which was a life saver as we ran out halfway through the trip. It is convenient to everything in Fort Morgan, the Dauphin Island Ferry, and a short 20 min drive to Gulf Shores Parkway. The property owners were readily available, though we barely needed them, and they checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. Couldn't be more pleased with our stay. So glad we found this gem. We look forward to getting back soon. - The Howard's

PERFECT

You could not ask for a better place to stay. Everything was perfect! Plenty of room for our family, coffee on the screened porches watching the sunrise the perfect setting.The pool is amazing! The beach is a short walk. The owners were so accommodating they went above and beyond any owner, I have dealt with in the past staying at a VRBO. Book it today! You will not be disappointed.

The private pool was the MVP of the stay

I like to provide honest ratings so other families know what to expect. I would give the actual property 3 stars. Its an older home (not old) - and I would compare it to an older Hampton Inn. Nice, clean - does everything you need. But I would add a star (now up to 4 stars) for all of the amenities the property has to offer - private pool (maintained prior to our arrival and mid week), the new hot tub, a propane grill and a propane griddle, bug control (with bug balls and a professional treatment again mid-stay) and not 1 but 2 screened in porches. Then I would add a star (now up to 5) for all of the support the property owners provided - pre and during our stay, numerous recommendations for shopping and where to eat. The owners truly wanted us to feel like family. Very happy we selected this property!!

Best Stay

We have stayed at several rentals and this was by far the best house! Plenty of room for our group and the host was quick to respond to every question we had. The kitchen was well supplied. A short walk to the neighborhood private beach and the private pool was secluded. If you love being close to the wildlife preserves this is your place. A short drive to Bon Secour and the bird sanctuary. The perfect place for the outdoors. Loved it!

Beach Trip

Raye was a great host! The house was just what we needed. There was a bedroom, bathroom, and full living room with a desk upstairs which was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. There was enough room to park 3 cars under the house while still having enough room for kids to play and relax on the outdoor sofa. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will definitely consider this house next year.

Loved the pool and location!

The pool was nicer than expected, so big! We loved having the ability to enjoy sunny days split between the pool and the beach. The neighborhood is terrific for walking or biking. Area was quiet and uncrowded, very relaxing. Having two king suites downstairs was the perfect setup for 2 couples!

BEST Family Vacation!!!

We had an amazing time on our vacation! The owners of this property were very helpful and had constant communication before, during, and after our stay! The location of the house was perfect! It was a very close walk to the beach even with 3 toddlers! The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! The gated pool was amazing for the days it was too windy for the beach, or when it was nap time for the kiddos! The screened in porch made for a great and safe hang out area for the kids and puppy! Overall, this was the best place we have stayed for our family vacations! We will definitely be back (hopefully next year)!

Great Beach house!

Our family had a great stay at this wonderful house. We had plenty of space for everyone plus our furry family members. The space under the house was great for hanging out. The pool was a great way to spend the day if you didn't want to go to the beach. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place with lots of space and great accommodations. We truly loved our stay, it was a moms getaway weekend equipped with all the things you need for a perfect stay. The pool was super clean, the amenities were all there and the home was so clean, the outdoor patio with porch swing was delightful. Raye was so helpful with each thing, highly recommend! Much Needed Getaway!!

Really enjoyed our stay!! Owner was very responsive and even allowed us to check in early! Only had a few minor issues with the Roku tv in bedroom. We were able to bring our fur babies and they loved the house. Screened in back porch was really nice for the dogs and in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. Pool was great as well!! We rented a golf cart to get to the beach. Would highly recommend 😊 Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!!

Family fun

We rented for a long weekend getaway for our family. The house is very spacious allowing us to have our own space but yet room enough for us all to be together. The pool was a blessing since the ocean was full of jellyfish this time. The owners communicated with us before, during and after to make sure we enjoyed the place and to answer any questions we had. We had stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our stay. Well stocked kitchen & laundry room. Owners were very attentive. The neighborhood was adorable. Beach was nicer then expected. Walk to beach was 2 (big) blocks away. Not too far but would rent golf cart if went again. Loved the pool but water was extremely hot. Wish there had been a cover of some type for shade to help keep cool & sun off it/us. Only complaint would be the mattresses but might just be us. They were firm & we’re more of the pillow top soft type.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our time spent at this rental. The house was clean and the owners have made several small touches that really make it feel like home. We cooked many of our meals and everything we needed was on hand. We really enjoyed the pool and the screened in porch was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. We highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic Getaway!

The house is perfect for multiple couples or families. The pool is beautiful and is a wonderful addition besides the gulf beaches. Our host was excellent to communicate and extremely accommodating. This was our second stay at this same home. We loved our stay and want to come back again! It is perfect!
