Paw Paw's Place

The house is in an excellent location. The house is older (as advertised) but was very well laid out and clean. They do still have an ant problem and there are issues with the plumbing in the central bathroom.

Ft Morgan house on the beach

The house was perfect for us. I believe it was the first time I’ve ever stayed in a house where all the lights and appliances were in working order. Comfortable and great location.I’d definitely stay here again.

My family vacation

Martha was a great host and very helpful with the rental and access process. We had a great stay! We loved it everything was nice. Beach access was great. The only issue were ants located between the main bedroom and laundry room that would come out and get on clothing.

Great location

My daughter and I wanted a last minute getaway. This house was a perfect size and location for us. The air conditioning wasn’t working the first half of the trip which was very disappointing but management had a window unit installed immediately which helped (bedrooms were still warm). Home could definitely use some updates and maintenance but location was great!

Beautiful pet friendly location

Wonderful stay!! Very nice property. Quick walk to beach. Had everything we needed from beach toys to beach towels to things for dog. I would definitely stay here again. Very quiet area and beach is so beautiful and clean water. Saw alot of dolphins so that was cool. Enjoyed it very much!

Great Stay For Quick Getaway

Communication with host was great. Thank you leaving us the basics (hand soap, dish soap, furniture covers for the dogs, beach towels, toilet paper, and paper towels). Everything was “clean”; however, place could use a deep cleaning. Price was decent for accommodations and for it being pet friendly. We will return and rent again. Place could use some upgrades. Locks need to be changed they are rusted and did not lock/unlock with ease

Perfect location!

This was a quick extension of a work trip for us. It was the perfect location, close to the beach. It maybe took 3 minutes and you could have your toes in the water. The house is as presented. It’s not luxury, but it is what you need if you plan to spend your time on the beach. The place was clean, however, I tripped over the living room rug and sand went everywhere. It’s the beach but probably could have been vacuumed another round. There is one bathroom with a slanted toilet/floor that frightened me at first but it proved to be secure. It’s just an older home that is definitely cozy enough to fully enjoy your time at the beach. The property manager was fantastic and super responsive. If you’re bringing your doggie, they offer a dog basket with blankets etc. we brought our own but still thought it was nice. Our dog hates the beach/sand but had plenty of other places to explore around the property. It’s a good place, even better location for a great value.

Great place! Close to the beach.

I will have to say, Fort Morgan, AL, is a great place to get away with family. Where we are staying at is away from the hustle and bustle of Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area, but close to everything you need. The beach was not crowded and only steps away. It's a small peninsular community that we would come back again. The house we rented is not big and beautiful like the others around it, but cozy and relaxing. Paw Paw's place is what they call it. Reminds me of a snowbird basic get away. The owners are hospitable and texted me on the way down saying everything was ready, the lights were on and if you need anything, just text or call day or night. We will be coming back again. Packing up and ready for the road trip back home tomorrow. Definite yearly booking.

Cozy house
