BEST PLACE IN GULF SHORES

My Friend's Place is such a hidden gem in Gulf Shores! With a virtually private pool, outdoor shower, and close proximity to the beach, this place is a dream! The inside was clean, stocked with all necessary kitchenware, and had comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to all my friends!

My Friend's Place West is an amazing place to stay in Gulf Shores. Wonderful accommodations for our entire fanily! The pool is amazing and just steps across the street from the beach. We will go again very soon. Feels like a home away from home at the beach.

Supermoon at the beach

We had a great stay at My Friend's Place. Our favorite spots we're with a cocktail rocking on the deck or walking on the beach which was right across the street. Extra bonus was a night walk under the super moon. Comfortable and close to everything. My friends place should be your friend's place!

Perfect Oasis

Bringing babies to the beach and young kids can always be a little hassle at times but this place has the perfect location and everything needed for my family! The pool and outdoor shower were great because the kids could swim whenever they want and also rinse off all the sand from the beach! The beach is a short walk from the house and right down the road from Waves which we used every day!

Fantastic Beach Getaway

Lovely property that was just perfect for our family vacation! The location was ideal for us - easy access to the beach, which was much less crowded than other parts of Gulf Shores. The pool was a great addition - we really enjoyed spending time there. Wonderful view of the beach from the porch - great spot to have coffee in the mornings and wind down in the evenings. The house had everything we needed for a beach getaway. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

German Cockroaches

This property has an infestation of German Cockroaches in the kitchen. We arrived and had to find an alternate location to spend our Spring Break. Thankfully the property management company was very helpful and gave us a full refund.

Family get away

The location was perfect, we were just across the street from the beach and easily accessible. Plenty of room for all of us…..3 adults and 3 children. Most of the place was clean enough but really needs a deep cleaning. The banisters into the unit and up to master bedroom, along with the plastic deck chairs were very grungy. All in all we had a wonderful time. Your beaches are beautiful and we really lucked out with the weather. We would definitely choose this place again.

Retirement Beach Trip

This was a great size for eight of us. Spent a lot of time on the deck and in the pool loved having our own pool and not having to share with tons of people was about a five minute walk, which was perfect. We did do quite a bit of cooking in the unit, just because we wanted to stay in and enjoy the pool and the beach. Any questions I have the manager got back to me quickly and we had no problems at check-in. Stay again in a heartbeat. !❤️❤️

Cockroaches noted in bathroom and kitchen, several living behind the stove clock. Pool was nice and private,good location. Had a few maintenance issues while there. The kitchen has very limited pans for cooking. Not even salt or pepper. Make sure you pack everything you need.

Perfect for family

The layout was nice since we had older family & younger. It allowed seperate fanily spaces. There are 2 sets of stairs so lighter luggage helps & maybe bring a baby gate for littles. There was a closet on the entry floor with some beach items we used then also left some toys & things we didn't take home. The pool is small when sharing with neighbors but we used the beach as much as possible.

Family vacation

The place and location was good. However, when we opened cabinets to get plates bugs scattered. Needless to say we ate out. The host apparently changed the Internet provider and didn't update the information, so we had to contact the property manager to get the info. The refrigerator wasn't working properly and again we had to contact the property manager.

Disappointed

We checked in and they were accommodating to let us in a little early. After bringing out suitcases in we went shopping and bought some drinks and snack for the fridge. A couple hours later we go to get our drinks out of the fridge and there were live German cockroaches in the fridge. After trying to kill it we notice roach traps in the kitchen. And then my friend found another live roach in the living room. We quickly packed and removed our stuff. Getting to refund was not as easy as they do not have management available after hours and they could not decided without them whether to refund us. We rented a hotel room for the night and someone finally said they could refund me the next morning. Those things spread like wildfire and they should not rent the house until the infestation has been dealt with.
