Five stars all around. We had a great stay. One of the most well stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in and the check-in process, access to the beach, and overall quality of the home were great. Will definitely return here if/when the opportunity presents itself.

The best again!

Susan's Sand Castles are the best properties in Ft Morgan. Janie the property manager is VERY responsive even after hours. The upstairs AC unit went out and she had a repairman there within an hour!

Family trip

We loved this house and the hospitality of the owners/managers! The only wish would be for there to be some type of baby/pet gate that would close off the stairs, ramp off of the porch. Thanks for a great place to visit!!

Amazing Beach Home for Multi-Generational Family

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our family to vacation. My 80+ year old parents were able to access the home and beach without using the stairs. Their master suite was located on the main level. The shaded canopy was just steps away from the ramp to the beach. The children (one as young as 18 months) had plenty of beach toys to play with. The home was a wonderful place to make memories.

Beautiful home and wonderful beach access and set up of our family of 12!

This is a beautiful home for our family of 12 this past week. The home was clean and very well equipped for our needs. The boardwalk to the beach was wonderful and convenient to come and go as we please. The beach canopy set up was greatly appreciated as well and we used it everyday! Our kids had a blast at the big pool and playing in the sand everyday. Thank you Susan and Jerry for a very relaxing and memorable stay! We greatly appreciate it!

Amazing home!

🎇 Nine of us stayed here for a week. FANTASTIC place! The elevated beach boardwalk with the sitting area and warm water shower/washdown was icing on the cake! Will definitely book again! ❤️

7 adults plus dog. booked based on beachfront, pet friendly and all 5 star reviews. Did not disappoint! From the moment of booking until checkout the communication with host and owners outstanding. Detailed info/instructions sent periodically prior to vacation at appropriate times. location 20 minutes to main stores in G.S. This made for less crowds in area. The community is beautiful, quiet, very family oriented. Walkable area. Home is large with open kitchen family area and the floor plan for bedrooms allowed for a lot of privacy.Very well equipped from kitchen to beach toys and more.nice addition was beach canopy specifically for house professionally put up. wonderful home and area made for great relaxing vacation. would not hesitate to return.

Amazing!!!!

First time on Ft Morgan and we have found our new spot! The beach is amazing and the house had everything we could ask for. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The deck is so big and plenty of chairs. Having access to all the beach toys was great too!

Our Thanksgiving at Susan Sandcastle 1

My family (all 21 of us) couldn’t have asked for better accommodations during the holiday. We were greeted with an immaculately clean home. A bonus touch was a gift basket which turned out to be the savior of our Thanksgiving - the “basket” was an aluminum tray which could hold our turkey while it baked. The one we brought was too small. I have only good things to say about the beach house and will gladly recommend it for anyone wanting an affordable getaway on the beach at Gulf Shores.

Great stay

Stayed for a week in February- weather was great. The home is fully equipped- has everything you would need. The location is amazing- saw dolphins every day from our patio - and the sunrise’s and sunsets made for a perfect trip. We will be back next year.

You can hear the waves

We wanted a warm-weather getaway on a beach to escape the midwestern cold, and this house was exactly what we needed. We fell asleep each night to the soothing sound of the gulf water hitting the shore, and woke up to sunshine streaming in from all of the windows. Both decks were wide, deep and well stocked with chairs. The kitchen was supplied with as extensive a supply of appliances, utensils, plates and glasses as any place we've stayed, and it had plenty of places to sit, eat and talk. We were fortunate to find such a wonderful place that allowed our dog to be with us on our vacation - we'd happily stay here again.

Birthday celebration for my wife #60

House and Beach location were the best! Quite lovely beach, big back porch made for viewing the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico,, or of coarse a few step to the sandy beach. Beach chairs with beach towels, all the kitchen items needed for your meals, two refrigerators, this unit and owner making it easier for us. Thanks so much for a great 10 days

We were in the rental over Christmas. A beautiful Christmas tree was put in for us.

We fixed every meal in but one that we ate at Tacky Jacks. The house is so equipped it was great. Our four grandsons loved the sandbar straight out from the house. Five stars!!!!!

Beautiful house

The house is great. It has plenty of space. The kitchen has many dishes and cookware. The view of beach is great. The deck has great seating and the tables outside on top deck and bottom make great spots for morning coffee and sunrise. The house is not close to any stores so it is a nice secluded part as lo g as you get what is needed as you go in.

Wonderful beachfront home

We had a wonderful week staying at Susan’s Sandcastle! The house was perfect for our family and i loved how it was big enough for us all to cook together and hang out. The house had everything we needed plus some!

Nice and relaxing stay

We were very pleasantly surprised by Susan's Sand Castle. The directions and access were super easy, and Susan was a joy to deal with. The house itself was open and roomy, and there were a huge number of kitchen items and utensils that, well, we never used. But they were there! The walkway to the beach was super convenient, and the view was amazing. This part of the area is not very busy and very quiet, at least during our non-peak visit. We ate out every night, and went to the Sandy Bass and Tacky Jack's several times each as there aren't too many choices. It is about a 20 minute drive to get back to town to more restaurants, so if you want variety and to eat out, it can be a bit of a haul. But, if you want to cook for yourselves and just go out for an occasional meal, this is a fantastic location. 2 fridges help make sure you have the space you need, a separate ice maker to keep your drinks cool, and plenty of beach to enjoy. We would definitely visit here again.
