First time to the Fort Morgan area. The property and the area exceeded our expectations! The views and sunsets were spectacular and the owners very quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope we are able to return sometime soon!

What a View!

I had an opportunity to stay here last week. The house was clean and in order. The owners went out of their way to have everything I could possibly need for my stay.The view was amazing and the house had a wood deck and path that led right onto the beach. You can't beat that! One of my favorite features was the outside cooler encased in wood....so cool!Amy was very responsive to questions. This was important to me since it was my first rental. I was very grateful for her help. I will be back!

Absolutely stunning

My family and I loved this house! It was by far the most well equipped house we’ve ever stayed. It had everything you’d need…the views from all the windows was gorgeous and with the water being alittle chilly, the hot tub was an excellent option to sit and watch the waves. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Birthday Weekend Get-away

Amy and Jay's vacation home is absolutely perfect. The photos are spot on - actually, the pictures don't do their place justice....It's beautiful - sunrises, sunsets, all day long!!!! Everything you need is provided - linens, laundry essentials, kitchen essentials, spices, toiletries, and a great ice maker!!!! Only need to stock up on food and drinks and no need to leave until your time runs out! Check-out is a breeze!!! No complaints here - only needed more days to stay. Hopefully, we can rebook and stay longer next time. Thank you Amy and Jay for sharing your beautiful vacation home! We absolutely LOVED our time there - felt like our own home away from home!!!! Perfectly Serene

I have always stayed in condos when coming to the OBA area. We decided we wanted to try something a little different and rent a house in a more secluded area for this trip. It did not disappoint! This property is everything we wished it would be. The decor is updated, modern, and cozy and makes you feel right at home! It had everything we needed to cook in for meals. It has an outdoor shower and all of the beach accessories you would need, so you don't have to bring everything from home. We loved the hot tub on the deck, as well as eating all of our meals outside on the porch overlooking the water. The most amazing part was the boardwalk that was just steps from the house to the beach front. We absolutely would rent this home again and cannot wait to come back with the whole family. If you are looking for a place that is away from the crowds and a little more private, this beautiful home will suit your needs.

Beautiful piece of beach, Far from nearby conveniences

Loved our stay at this beautiful beach home! The house setup was perfect for our family and we loved the placement on the beach. The private boardwalk is a huge plus with very few around you in regards to people on the beach. I also was very appreciative of the amenities on site, such as garbage bags, soap, dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It gets costly to spend money on the items that you need very few of for a few night stay. I truly appreciated this! I also was overjoyed that the home had a packnplay, and it was basically brand new. I also was happy with the linens. I feel like you can tell a lot about a rental based on the quality and cleanliness of the linens, and these were top notch. My gripes in regards to the property are small; some bedroom blinds were missing mechanisms so I had to turn the blinds closed one blind at a time, and they weren’t quite darkening so a lot of light is in the room early morning. And the TV’s all have a bright light at the bottom that stays on at night when off. I also wish the chairs on the porch were taller - when you sit in them, the top of the rail blocks your view of the beach. But like I said, small concerns. The beach is beautiful and I loved that everything you need for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, sand toys) were available. If you want to be near walkable community areas with restaurants and stores, don’t stay here. It was pretty far from the nearest airport. But if you want a non-crowded beach, it’s great!

Best Beach Vacation Ever

After several trips to busy parts of the Gulf the last few years, we were looking for a break from that and this could not have been more perfect. Amy was a great host and the property was amazing. Had everything we needed - but mainly a beach, a hot tub and no crowds. No one wanted to come home and we can't wait until we can get back.

Private Beach for the family

The house was terrific. Clean stocked with coffee beach towels, toys. We wouldn't have changed a thing and will rent again! It was priceless to be on the beach and have easy access to the house. Great hosts, responsive to questions.

Great place

Our overall experience was good. Very nice beach house and directly on the beach as described. The house itself was clean, and had all that you would need for a weekend at the beach. One thing I would recommend is renting a beach tent ahead of time as it is much better than using the umbrellas. The tents are pretty much what everyone on the beach was using. The drive into Gulf Shores for dining out or family activities is about 20 minutes and is a pleasant drive. Again, our time here was great and we will be back ext year.

Perfect!

This property is amazing and the hosts were so helpful! The communication before arrival was timely and informative and the check in was seamless. Amy even sent an email with restaurant suggestions which we took and we loved them. I am so used to bringing extra trash bags, laundry supplies, coffee, dish detergent, aluminum foil, etc.. That was all supplied! Literally all you need is your clothes and food. The location and decor are beautiful and perfect. We almost had the beach to ourselves. We are already planning our next visit to this property. Book it immediately!

Amazing Place!

The home was just wonderful! In a perfect location and very quiet & peaceful. Right on the beach so it was easy going to & from the beach. The home was very clean and lots of windows with beautiful views! The extras in this place made it easy such as box fans, soap, shampoo, conditioner, beach towels…can’t say enough we really enjoyed staying here! Amy was so easy to deal with if I had questions. Will definitely be back!

Amazing Property

WOW! If you are looking for a quiet trip for yourself and spouse, or your family, this location is perfect. The home is beautiful and right on the beach. The views from the property cannot be beat - windows all around! The property owners are so communicative and provided us with so much information and resources, so we had everything we needed in hand. Restaurant recommendations were amazing, too! We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful experience!

We had an amazing family vacation and staying here was a big part of it. The location was perfect and in great proximity to some great restaurants and the beach obviously. Easy to go back and forth two and three times a day. My elderly mother has bad knees and enjoyed the sun deck while watching her grandkids play in the ocean. The beach was very clean and surprisingly not crowded (it’s private) at all for a holiday weekend. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. I don’t think the listing mentions it or shows it, but the bunk room was adorable and the kids loved it. There’s a super neat gaming table in there and the kids played on it and loved that- such a neat addition we weren’t expecting. They have beach chairs already there which was super nice. Everything you need- plug in fans in the two bedroom closets (we always bring our own but no need here!). Ceiling fans are a fancy touch and super nice. Kitchen fully equipped. Shades are motorized but the view is phenomenal. TVs in every room. We could not have asked for more. The hosts were superb and quick to respond when I messaged them for recommendations or questions. Highly recommend this and it pains me to do so- bc we plan to visit here every summer and I hope the word doesn’t get out too much just how phenomenal this VRBO is. 😬 Thanks again. We will most certainly be back.
