We were there for a beach volleyball tournament and the location was perfect. Unit was clean, updated, and enough room for all of us. Will stay again!

Great Gulf Shores Location!

We had a wonderful time staying at Gulf Place with Lucky Bird. It was really easy to get to and Lucky Bird provided great emails, information, and maps to understand parking and everything. I was very pleased to find multiple excellent carts to help us unload. Parking was clearly identified and easy to get to, but honestly we did not have to drive much given the amazing location. The unit clean and wonderful. Lucky Bird was clear on what was included regarding additional toiletries and cleaning supplies, which allowed us to get extra as we liked. Very helpful and totally reasonable for the price. The unit itself was luxurious and great to bit in. We loved the views. The rooftop pool was wonderful. While heating can do only so much in winter, it made it usable in late December which our kids loved. The pool and chaises were fantastic. Not only did we enjoy the pool but came up for sunset views as well. The game room was fun and helpful for going up to the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, including dishes, glasses, a great coffee maker and blender. The utensils were adequate unless someone has a specialty focus. Our family group had a great time and we all loved staying there. We would happily stay again. I’ve rarely had an easier experience than with Lucky Bird.

Gulf Place

The accommodations were wonderful and we felt safe the entire time there! The location is central with lots of restaurants and activities close. The rooftop pool is beautiful. I would return without hesitation!

Great with 2 Exceptions.....

Loved this place! There were only two problems. All of the beds had microfiber sheets that seemed to be a size too large and they were horrible! They didn't fit tight and every morning the fitted sheet had come off the mattress. The 2nd thing was the amount of noise on the street side of the condo. It was VERY loud! If you rent from this complex, get on the beach side!

Chose property primarily due to location close to the Hangout, could literally see the band playing from living room, and hear them from balcony, and many other restaurants and shopping within walking distance as well as been right on the beach Great experience in Gulf Shores staying at this property

Not a five bedroom

Location of the property is great if you want to be in the action, check in easy and was clean. The problem was that on the website and in the descriptions of the rooms it was listed as five bedrooms. The fifth room has no window or closet. It is tiny and has two twin beds crammed in it. It was hot, and didn’t get air circulation. I imagine the original concept would have been for it to be storage. I contacted the realty company that runs the property, they told me that because it was listed as a bonus room on one part of the description that it was accurate. As realtors they most certainly know this isn’t true, it’s deceptive and it’s done on all of their “five bedroom” properties in gulf shores. The photos and title of the property have it listed as five bedroom. The street side of the building is definitely loud. Again it’s right in the action so it’s great for walking but the windows don’t protect against any sort of sound.

City view condo

First the cruise, we like that all the bedrooms have their own bathroom. The view from the hang out out was fun at night. All the rooms have blackout shades. Cons - There are no baking dishes like Pyrex in the condo. There’s one cookie sheet.The hallway smelled like dead fish entire time we were there. Golf place does not have their own beach access, you will be on a public beach. Go tours public beach does not allow you to use canopy tents. And then you have the public beach People that you are with. Overall we enjoyed staying here, but the public beach access would probably deter me from staying again

Family Holiday

Our family got together at Gulf Place for Thanksgiving. The condo was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the neighborhood too. There was lots of stuff for us to do together with the kids, and the adults were able to get out and enjoy some of the local bars within walking distance too! We are already talking about a repeat trip for next year!

I can not speak any higher of this place. The condo itself was roomy and very nice, the rooftop pool has a 360 view of the beach and the strip, and the location can not be beat!

Family beach vaction

Beautiful property, immaculate condition. Huge living/kitchen/dining area with outstanding views of beach and Gulf Shores. Kitchen was well outfitted with cooking equipment and plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware. Best supplied kitchen of any vaction rental I've experienced. Only thing I'd recommend is a Keurig (i brought my own). Parking is a block away, which wasn't really an issue as it turned out. You will notice the street noise a little in the morning, so if you're a late sleeper, bring a white noise machine or fan. I thought the Hangout next door would be a noise issue, but it's not at all. Great location. If you need a large place, this is it!

Great location, nice property

I loved this place and would stay here again. Three things that would improve this property. First, when we booked originally, it was listed as beach front, beach views. We did not have a beach view except in the dining area, so no bedroom beach view. Still, this property is so close to the beach that I overlooked that. The property is new or newly renovated. Second, each unit should have a broom. It is completely hard wood and we had a toddler. We bought a broom and dust pan and left it in the room to pick up behind a family. The property is across the street from the Hangout (beach side of the street) but the Hangout shuts down at 11 so no worries. Finally, the property manager was VERY responsive to everything we needed (hot water turned up, additional guests).
