Great Lowkey Vacation Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect short getaway before getting back to the hustle and bustle of the school year. It was very relaxing! We loved that the beach was a short walk and not too busy most days.

Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the location, balcony view and resort amenities.

My family really enjoyed our stay. We liked it was away from the tourist area of Gulf Shores but still a short drive to restaurants and attractions. The condo was clean and had cute ocean decorations. The size with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked well for my family. It is also close to a Dollar General. There was only one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and one trash bag supplied. I feel like basic household supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and trash bags should be supplied. We flew in and had to buy those things then leave what we didn’t use there. Those have been supplied at any other vacation rental we have stayed at. There was also an outlet on one side of the bed in the master bedroom that was not working.

family get away

Location is close to the beach and the condo and other facilities were clean and close to the condo where we met our other family members. A couple of days before we left to Kansas to drive to Gulf Shores, there was a Global IT problem that affected the VRBO site. I was unable to see, send or receive messages to/from the owner for check-in/check-out directions. After going through the VRBO helpdesk, I was able to obtain Marty's phone number. Marty was very helpful and responsive which eased the stress of arriving somewhere without the information I normally receive ahead of time. Thanks to Marty our trip was enjoyable and 4 generations of our family were able to spend a week together allowing me to see some who I had not seen in many months. This is definitely our home away from home.

Fabulous beach trip!

We loved the easy proximity to get to the beach and the view from the balcony was beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked to prepare a few meals during the week and even a birthday cake for my daughter! The owner was quick to respond to our texts and it was overall a fun and fantastic week at the beach!

Fun Getaway for July 4th

Wonderful Hospitality

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. Each time was with different owners and both was just great! Marty the property owner of this stay was so kind and accessible when i had questions or concerns. Our family had an amazing time. The room was clean and had some really nice upgrades with the kitchen and the tv in the living area. The only recommendation i would have would be the slidding doors to the balcony. They were hard to open and loud. But I noticed on our last day that there was note in the elevator that someone was coming to measure the doors in all the condos. So, im guessing they're about to be upgraded soon. We will be back! 10/10 recommend 😁

Great unit at a great property!

This is our second year in a row staying in this property at Fort Morgan and we couldn't have been happier. The kids loved that they got to stay in the same place where they recognized everything and we love staying at Gulf Shores Plantation. This unit is one of the best values in Fort Morgan. We look forward to staying again next year!

Perfect getaway!

The room was just as described. The tv remote in the bedroom didn’t work, but it has buttons on the tv. This condo is not overboard with fancy decorations, but has everything you could need, including beach toys! The beach was not overcrowded even though it was the middle of summer! The pools were not too crowded either. Early morning/late afternoon surf fishing provided hours of entertainment and tons of whiting, several pompano, catfish, spade fish, and the occasional crab. This was our second stay and we plan on coming back next year!

‘Tis gonna be a yearly thing now…

Marty's unit is undoubtedly one of the cleanest and most comfortable rentals we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The charming beach theme throughout the place, from the delightful wall decors to the tasteful plates, added a lovely touch to our experience. What truly enhanced our stay were the small details that are often overlooked. We were thrilled to find multiple conveniently located plugs on the bedside, which made charging our devices hassle-free. The queen bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it difficult to motivate ourselves to leave for the beach we had driven 8 hours to visit. The abundance of well-stuffed and firm pillows provided a luxurious sleep experience. Additionally, the availability of extra blankets allowed us to find a common room temperature that kept everyone comfortable. Having access to Netflix on the TV was a delightful bonus that added to our relaxation. The balcony, furnished with Adirondack chairs, was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at the beach. We truly cherished the serene atmosphere it offered. Marty's prompt and responsive communication both before and after our arrival was greatly appreciated. Their attentiveness made us feel valued as guests. The ease of access to the beach made it convenient for everyone, including my mother who has weak knees. Overall, we are definitely staying here again.

We had a great time. The condo was great with an amazing view of the ocean. The condo was very spacious. We would most defiantly book this condo again in the future if we traveled back to Gulf Shores. Great Family Trip

We had a wonderful time staying in this unit! We traveled to this property last year and decided to come back again. The unit was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, was super comfortable, and all the amenities were in great shape. The view of the beach from the balcony is incredible, and made for a great place to see the sunrise. We would definitely stay here again!

Beating the heat

Great time enjoying the beach this weekend. Perfect location. Great size unit for what we needed! The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are so comfy. There are several pools. It has lots of afternoon activities right off the beach you can do. Grills and tables are right outside the pool. The kids could swim while we cooked supper or grabbed something from sassy bass and ate outside. Nice view of the beach from the balcony. Was glad the parking lot is monitored. There are security guards all over the place which was great to me. We will be back! Thank you Marti!

Wonderful Getaway

This condo is located in such a perfect spot. You have the convenience of both beach and bay views with direct beach access. This condo provided my family and I a wonderful stay. Marty was very helpful and responsive. And the sassy bass provided such delicious food. We will definitely be booking again. It was such a wonderful experience!

Good for the money

For the price point it is a good listing. Everything was very clean and well kept. You have to buy some type of insurance policy once you book that I believe was like $69. I did not receive check in or check out instructions other than a rental agreement that was provided once I signed up. Make sure you read it word for word. I didn’t take the trash out and didn’t start the dishwasher which violated one of the rules. This resulted in me not receiving my $150 deposit, because the cleaning lady charged him extra. I’m leaving a 4 star because it’s overall a good listing for the money. Just read the entire rental agreement before check in and check out because you will not get further instructions like every other VBRO.
