As expected

Unit was clean and as expected. The kitchen is minimally stocked- has most of what you need nothing more. There were no wristbands in the unit so we had to have them bring us some. (The employees do ask to see them.) Pool and hot tub are great. There is only a couple feet of sand at the beach which was a bummer- but I know they’re about to start fixing that over the next few months. Overall good stay.

Love Gulf Shores

We had a great stay at this unit. The only trouble we had was the dishwasher. We were on the 11th floor, and the balcony was my favorite spot. I short distance to everything and many things within walking distance! So much fun!

Crystal Tower is great, but NOT Vacasa!

We love Crystal Tower and have stayed in different units over the years, but none before managed by Vacasa. And we don't plan to again! To make a long story short, we had no working refrigerator from when we arrived on Tuesday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. After many texts and 2 different people coming to look at the fridge, it wasn't until we drove to the Vacasa office that we actually got something done. But when they finally brought a working fridge, instead of taking the non-working fridge out, they put the working fridge blocking half the hallway! Then on the last night of our vacation, the freezer part of the non-working fridge (the freezer had been working all along) began making loud banging noises, disrupting our sleep. Other things: one of the toilet seats was broken. One of the decorative bed pillows was very dirty. The bed skirt was tacked on with heavy-duty staples and tacks which fell off on the floor, and are a real hazard to be stepped on. I noticed in another review of Vacasa that someone stepped on a tack in the night, and obviously they have not rectified that situation. Vacasa offered us a partial refund for the refrigerator situation because a lot of our food spoiled, but over a week later I have yet to see the refund.

The property was clean and as advertised. The view/experience from the balcony was better than expected as you can still hear the waves even though you are across the street. It was a short, easy walk to the beach.

So convenient

Thankful that the bridge was open from our condo to the beach. Pools were immaculately clean and open so early. Kids loved them. Our condo was quiet and clean!

A good experience for us.

No problems at all. The only that happened during our stay was one morning inspectors knocked on our door to inspect windows and doors. It would have been nice to know they were coming and wondered if they would have come in when we weren’t there.

Overall a nice place to stay

The condo was very clean and well kept. The only things we were disappointed in was the master bedroom TV was the smallest in the house and was not "smart" so we could not connect to any of our streaming services but the other rooms could. Also there was no hair dryer which would have been fine had I known ahead of time. I guess I should have looked at the amenities but I just assumed there would be one. This our second time staying at Crystal towers and the location is great. Easy walk to the beach and pool across the Skywalk. We will definitely come back!
